I didn't suggest you did agree with it, I'm suggesting that the notion of 'you're not free of consequences' doesn't apply to this situation.

Which is why I said fight it and agree with you.

My post was pointing out that at social media level and regular people which is where it started its now coming back to bite people on the arse.

Fight it how?

Why is it coming back to bite people on the arse? For a third time, that saying/outcome isn't relevant in this circumstance. The right just has no awareness.

They're all afraid to fight it because they need government approval for mergers etc. not necessarily the producer but the affiliates showing ABC in different areas
And the small matter of the stacked courts.

But it's not even consequences. If there were TV guidelines that Kimmel had breached, then he would have been removed naturally, there would have been no need for the MAGA crowd to wail and teeth gnash and force his employer to remove him. The fact they had to put the pressure on means it's not a natural consequence of his actions but just flat out censorship.

I'm actually amazed they didn't take issue with Kimmel later in the piece basically saying Trump was in the Epstein files in a sketch, if they're so intent on not letting him say things as facts that aren't true. Of course, there could be another answer to that..
Oh yeah you’ve hit the nail on the head. It’s literally what they were screaming the left would do if still in power…

Ryder Cup tomorrow. Even being in NY can't see USA winning. Very average looking squad.
Captain Bradley should have selected himself
Dunno, it's a decent team. Should be a fairly even matchup as some of the European guys are coming into form. The interesting one will be Rahm and Dechambeau given Rahm has played 1 competitive tournament in a month and Dechambeau missed the BMW.

I've switched my connection at home to Telstra 5G home internet which has been excellent (typical speeds 800mbps down/ 80mbs up). Most impressive of all is the ping time consistency for online gaming. I've had both my 14 yo and 10 yo kids moaning about gaming lag on iinet fibre NBN. To my surprise Telstra 5g home internet is superior. When you have a home connection you get dedicated bandwith all the time assigned to your connection - it isn't the same as creating a hotspot on your mobile. So that's all good.

Last week I attempted to cancel my NBN connection with a provider who I have been with since 2008. Nothing against them - their equivalent fibre service speeds were $50 more monthly than Telstra 5g home internet so we decided to cancel NBN.

All of a sudden now that I am cancelling a service they want both myself and my wife to upload all kinds of documentation including drivers licenses, medicare cards. 100 points of id etc. They demanded selfie photos - all that kind of stuff. I checked the terms and conditions I agreed to when I signed up in 2008 - none of this was a requirement.

I said **** off - here's my login details, here's payment until the end of the month - cancel my NBN service. So far they are refusing steadfastly to do so. They have no customer service in Australia at all. I find it utterly absurd these ****wits demand all of this upon cancellation but have not once mentioned it since we've been paying monthly for years.

Seeking advice from TIO they agreed that the demands to cancel the service were unreasonable. So I lodged a complaint with them who are now speaking to iinet.

This sort of behavior is astounding. I must have spent nearly 15k with iinet since signing up with them 17 years ago.

Beware of these crooks.

Just had a look. John Cena has had a year long farewell tour (retiring in December) and Perth was the final overseas stop of his career.

Had no idea he was still wrestling.

Had no idea he was still wrestling.
He's only been showing up like once or twice a year since maybe 2018?

This year he's doing a lot more, but that's it. No more matches.
Allegedly, if the bag is big enough then who knows. Wouldn't be the first time a wrestler retires and then has another match.

Had no idea wrestling was big enough in Australia to warrant him coming out here.
It's quite popular. Even the #2 company has started doing a yearly televised show here, so it's not just WWE.
