Britain can't survive either. They'll work out a solution.
ding, ding, ding. That's what I have been trying to say, but probably farked it up. I'd expect Britain to have access the free market, albeit with slightly higher costs. They will probably bring in their own version of ETSA for EU nationals, not particularly onerous.

The head of the ECB is talking now (Mark Carney). Saying that they have been working with financial institutions for a long time in anticipation of this event (think Basel 3 on steroids). Carney continued to say that the ECB has 250 billion pounds allocated to supporting the market/pound. There will be short term pain in the markets but it won't persist imo. The ECB will use all their power to do their job....supporting financial market stability.

This will end up being a big non event. Will take ages for things to actually come into place. And a heck of a lot of negotiation will go on in the mean time. Day to day life won't be too different for most Brits

I guess my entire point is that if they manage to sort out trade deals they really won't end up much better off.

The U.K. is still one of the German and French companies biggest markets. They won't shun them. If this was Malta or Cyprus voting out its a different story and peoples lives there will change massively but most poms won't notice a difference between 2014 and 2018

Not sure what you mean.

I'm saying UKIP said immigration would be reduced if they left, people voted on that basis, and they've already admitted it's not likely to happen.
I'm saying that the anti-brussels sentiment has been here for at least 15 years. People didn't vote out because of a flippant one liner from Farage. Most acknowledge that he's an idiot.

Most love Boris and listen to what he says.

Spot on. Didnt ukip bomb massively last election? This isn't a yes vote for ukip or racism. Just a vote for change. Change that'll end up being less than voters realised and a lot longer to implement

They can follow their own laws which is a massive point of contention over here and work towards a slow transition out of the EU. tbh, The EU should just be a Free Trade Union, not a Monetary Union and will be in 5 years imo.

no they didn't, not really. This sentiment has existed for at least 15 years.
Yep, the sentiment was there certainly since I moved over here in 2003. In fact I reckon there have been pushes for a referendum since then and probably before.

I really don't think you can generalise the inners and the outers. I know I said it before but it was a complex decision, and people put a lot of thought into where they stood on it. People who make out it was a slam dunk, right or wrong decision don't really understand the issues themselves.

Since Arsenal and Leicester had key players like Bellerin, Nacho, Huth and Kante wouldn't be eligible to play in the U.K. we get the ENGLISH premier league title now? ;)
