Honestly, he seems like the type that would do a lot better at AFL level than WAFL but we really aren't the type of team to reward someone for pretty ordinary WAFL performances.

No way he is our saviour though, I expect he'd add a bit more than Crozier would (who was selected from pretty average form in the WAFL as well).

Port could fall away as they are so young. Freo play Geelong next if Freo lose that they will finish behind Geelong.

Yeah I know, he doesn't deserve his chance yet but at the same time I don't know of Crozier really does either. I think Sylvia has shown more at AFL level than Crozier has, but he needs to produce at least 1 quality performance before given a game.

Port are good but they've had a bit of luck as well. Played a few undermanned sides, little injuries and have pretty easy fixtures.
I think if they were to go against sides like Hawks/Geelong/Sydney in finals they'd lose, not sold on us yet as we haven't really played well and haven't really had our full side out there.

Genuine ruckman eh, I guess if our only genuine ruckman is David Hille and he's missing, and we're playing Gold Coast who have Ablett O'Mera missing, the losses will be even

I guess players not even playing > players actually playing albeit "underdone", alright

Yeah I am, because of how much the Hawks go on about their amazing depth.

Hawks still had guys like Rioli, Lewis and Burgoyne running through their midfield. We had Derickx as our replacement for our loss.

Hawks still had Gibson, Schoenmakers and Cheney as their KPD to make up for Lake.

Hawks were in the game going into the last quarter and they choked. Simple as that.

As I said before if we were missing Hanners and Kennedy I wouldn't whinge about it. In fact we missed 8/9 of our Best 22 last year and we just got on with it.
