I'm not even sure that's true. St Kilda are truly awful.

I really wish we played Sydney at the start of the season before they clicked.

Their players have to be on a tenth of what their market value is. No other way they can fit that many stars into one team.

There are alternatives. Just have to look of Carlton around the turn of the millennium to see some of those alternatives.

Sydney not playing hardball?
lol.
You playing hardball completely ****ed over the Adelaide Football Club.
Give us what Tippett was worth and our cheating that didn't cheat wouldn't have gotten caught and we wouldn't be completely and utterly ****ed in the future, 3-7 years from now.
Er what, he was meant to go for a 2nd rounder, we offered White as well. We're notoriously good traders.

I downloaded a set of tactics modeled on how Brendan Rodgers sets up including three different formations and tactics for each formation. First time I have ever done it but it has helped because I usually forget to go into so much detail with my tactics and never seem to get the right formation for my players.

One tip I would give you is to not play Gerrard shielding the back 4. FM14 was brought out before Gerrard made the switch so he is more a deep lying playmaker or central midfielder. I would push him up next to Henderson and get Lucas shielding the back 4. Lucas is one of the best holding mids in the game.

Coutinho can be more effective in a number 10 role than out wide. Use Aspas up top until Suarez and Sturridge get back. He is actually pretty handy on the game.

I gave Mignolet a season before moving him on too. Their are much better GK's out there.
Retain possession
Shorter passing
Hassle opponents
Exploit the flanks

can't remember the rest I use, but it's basically a high pressure, short passing game.

Fair enough. He wouldn't come out and say he didn't like his current employer though.

Time will tell, we will know come the end of the season :thumbsu:

Perhaps. What you do for work and what he does for work are very different.

Anyway, will find out one way or another soon enough.

Yep we will. Didn't seem to miss him last night. ;) There's a reason he didn't get back in this side. Hope you saw Parker's performance!
Na, didn't get to catch any of it last night.

I doubt you'll find a poor Sydney player when they win by 110 points haha

Catch a replay if you can, Parker was one of the BOG.

Yeah I honestly don't think there were any passengers last night. Even Derickx kicked two.

Geelong were worryingly bad though. Absolutely zero pressure and our players just waltzed in for goals.

Never seen Geelong play so badly. We just kept hitting up Tippett and Franklin then if they dropped it or it was spoiled, our mids just ran onto it and scored a goal. Was close to a training drill.

Exactly my thinking. They had the game on when I went for lunch so saw the second half again, and **** me, it was just so easy running into goal.
