It's not normally my thing but a mate of mine (who is very similar to me) just started watching and said I'll love it. Here goes...

Not into Game of Thrones myself, but if anyone is looking for a nice comedy to watch, cannot recommend "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" highly enough. Fans of the Office will enjoy it I think. First season finished a month or so ago.

I watched Season One, then Season Two, then Season One again and Season Two again then Season Three, then Season One again etc.... each time you'll pick up new things and more things will make sense.

I'm also now reading the books which adds even more haha.
