Never knew they were Scottish.

Just got an acoustic of My Backwards Walk up. Quality.

Do you like Gaslight Anthem?
I tend to favour Scottish bands for some reason. The accent works so well and I am a sucker for gloomy music. The Twilight Sad, Mogwai, We Were Promised Jetpacks, Biffy Clyro, Teenage Fanclub, Belle and Sebastian, Arab Strap, Chvrches etc.

Never heard of Gaslight Anthem. I'll check them out. Any songs to check out?

Definitely some of the most influential people of all time in any industry - and the most in the music industry.

What are your favourite Beatles tracks?

In no particular order; Hey Jude, Let It Be, Here Comes The Sun, Obladi Oblada.

The Cavern in Liverpool is a great place to listen to Beatles songs. They don't always play Beatles but when they do it makes for a great atmosphere with everyone singing along.

But music these days is dross!

To be fair I'm not sure what jod was considering these days.
Oh there is still plenty of good music coming out. Good new music. But it just seems that the market has become more and more saturated with absolute crap. The last 10 years, the rise of the singing shows, made up pop bands. Plus Youtube gets shit people famous.

Still great music out there but the dross levels are higher than ever IMO.

Revolution? Long and winding road? I want to hold you hand? Glass onion? I am the walrus?

**** it way too many to pick from.

Too many to choose from, it'd be easier to name Beatles songs that you don't like.

That's what's wonderful about the Beatles. Hey Jude, Ob Ladi Ob Lada and Let it Be arent among my favourites. But they have such a huge and varied list of songs that you can have two favourite Beatles songs that sound nothing alike.

For instance two of my favourite songs are I Saw Her Standing There and Happiness Is A Warm Gun. But if you asked an uneducated kid today to listen to both songs and ask if they are the same band or a different band, they would no doubt say different.

Or you could say something like Julia or Helter Skelter. The examples go on and on.

The Beatles greatness is just untold.

Sheer genius.

I mean when you talk favourite Beatles tracks, here are just a few.

Rocky Raccoon
Happiness is Warm Gun
Blackbird
I'm So Tired
Why Dont We Do It In The Road
Glass Onion
Dear Prudence
Julia

And that's just off The White Album's first disc haha.

Epic, epic band.

Ive been listening to the Beatles since the days when my dad used to put on the red or blue album after a Sunday roast probably some 35 years ago. And yet, it wasn't until too long ago that I discovered this little gem

A classic. You only just discovered this song bro? It's the last track on A Hard Day's Night which is a pretty perfect album.
