Check out their other stuff first. This song is their first in three years and it's about him coming to terms with leaving Scotland and living in LA and how alone he felt for the short period of time he was there. He's lyrically very brilliant too which gives it added depth. Their sound is actually nothing like those bands usually. Most music is quite cyclical anyway.
Get round listening to Gaslight?

Is this a bad time to bring up that my preferred radio station for music is 3MBS (103.5 FM). Always nice to get into the right mindset.

If I wanted some modern music, I have my USB ready to go with all your banging tunes.

While I agree today's music is not as good, and the chart's a wreck, you will find the occasional piece of gold, and it's just as good as what came before it.

Never understand why people listen to the radio.

It's full of adverts, full of ******s who love them themselves talking absolute shit, then occasionally they put on some shit music.

Radio is awful.

I just listen to my music, no ads, no talking ****heads and it's all music that I like. Haha.

Well when you're on a work site the radio is the only thing that keeps you going. Triple J is perfect for it.

Problem is with not listening to radio as advocated by Jod, it is still the easiest way to discover new music.

My heart bleeds for you ;)
Well it's also my last uni break ever...

You know, not counting the inevitable months of unemployment while I look for a job.

Only one more week of uni break

My last break before my final year of Uni was mainly spent on an internship, so my last proper break I didn't even realise it was my last break!

In fairness I spent 90% of it in England watching football so can't really complain, can I?

I never went to uni so never had the breaks. My last holiday was 7 years ago during school haha.

Only take 2 weeks a year these days.

I'm sure there is an "f" in there as well.

Knopfler - must be of some European heritage I'd imagine
Ahhh yes, you're right. F instead of the H.

Either way, epic musician haha.

Yeah not too bad actually. Are they Aussie? They remind me of a band called Augustine's.
They're from New Jersey. Seems Cruyff has a liking to musicians from that part of the world ;).

Good on Nick K for his first ATP title. He just has to learn how to not go over that fine line of craziness where it hurts his game. He definitely looks the type of player that plays better when fired up but we've seen that it can be a massive distraction too

Actually meant to mention it on here this morning when I saw that but forgot. Well done to him! Beat some quality players along the way.

Egyptian Legal system :drunk:

An Egyptian court has been criticised after it sentenced a four-year-old boy to life in prison for murder.

Ahmed Mansour Karni was convicted on Tuesday for murder, disturbance of the peace and damaging state property. It’s claimed he committed these crimes two years ago, which would make him just two-years-old when the alleged crimes took place, the Mirror reports.

A 2yr old murderer :$:$:$:$
