Because its the last time we were any good :(
I did enjoy your 2009 finals campaigner

And here I thought c*nt would autocorrect to campaign. Stupid er at the end ruining my post >.<

Go watch the 4th quarter of the 99 prelim game then come and tell me how Kouta was just a run of the mill type player.

The most versatile and athletically gifted player to ever play the game, dominated in a variety positions, including at CHB, as an inside midfielder, as a key target forward and a line breaker and eve held his own in the ruck. His 2000 season remains the most dominant by an individual in the history of football, champion data statistically have rated that season as the best they've ever recorded. Anyone who considers him to be "run of the mill" is a joke.

That's great, always nice to hear stories about how some people save loads from the holocaust

That page also asks me whether I would like to follow other Jewish stories, news and culture, I agree or no, I clicked no, I think I made the right decision
Watch the video man, absolutely amazing and inspirational what he did, and how.

Hoo ****ing Ray
Finally get my new stadium
mid 2013 - No
mid 2014 - No
mid 2015 - No
mid 2016 - We agree, but we can't afford
mid 2017 - Gave it to me without me even having to ask.

Going from a 29k seat stadium to a 40k seat stadium. Love the move. Will increase my revenue to the point I can match it with the best in Europe.

You're a prophet. And here the rest of us were thinking we were in it to win it. :thumbsu:

Im upgrading Anfield in my game but it's annoying. We are spending all this money and only upgrading 7,500 thousand seats. So going from 45k to 52.5k. Seems fairly pointless.

Mine was upgraded to 60k, but can't seem to get the board to build a new and bigger one, frustrating

When I managed Swansea, I got the Liberty to 45k but then don't even have an option to request a new one being built coz the Liberty's fairly new, sad

Stadium's the one thing about the later FMs that is a bit annoying, the earlier versions seem to be more helpful in terms of owners agreeing to build new ones

Well FM, tends to be as realistic as possible. How often do you see team building new stadiums. You certainly dont see Swansea having the funds to build a new 200m stadium.

You would think options would be there for some of the bigger, richer teams though.

My last long term sim which I got 8 or 9 seasons in, Tottenham built a 70k stadium, Chelsea expanded to a 50k stadium, 1 of the smaller teams (Norwich I think) built a 35k stadium, Manchester City built a 75k stadium and Liverpool a 60k stadium.

I was pissed when Tottenham got their's. Was still at Arsenal and they wouldn't build a bigger stadium to stay bigger than their main rivals.

Some ridiculous arguments against football here:

http://www.clarionledger.com/story/...est-soccer-sign-nations-moral-decay/11372137/

I particularly liked (ie thought was completely batty) this:

I resent the force-fed aspect of soccer. The same people trying to push soccer on Americans are the ones demanding that we love HBO's "Girls," light-rail, Beyonce and Hillary Clinton. The number of New York Times articles claiming soccer is "catching on" is exceeded only by the ones pretending women's basketball is fascinating.

Completely vacuous attempt to combine conservative tropes with a disregard for football.
