I am 26.

But what year I was born should not determine what music I should have to listen to.

Indeed I do. Queen, The Eagles, Billy Joel, Elton John, Bruce, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, all great. I like music from all era's.

There are some great bands around today (who are not mainstream), whom I thoroughly enjoy. I am a big Killers fan, old school Kings of Leon are great, Vance Joy has a big future ahead of him. The Lumineers are one of my favourite bands too.

I enjoy some of their songs. Wouldn't say I'm a fan as such. My music tastes is much closer to yours, I don't listen to much current music. Dire Straits, Paul Simon, U2, Queen, Tom Petty etc. One of my favorite songs is St Elmos fire haha.
