Always on the search for new music, also a fan of Wolf Alice chef.
Only came upon it a couple of years ago. I never had paid too much attention to the Beatles pre-Rubber Soul work (besides the obvious well known stuff) but yeah that "Hard Days Night" is a great one.A classic. You only just discovered this song bro? It's the last track on A Hard Day's Night which is a pretty perfect album.

"I am the walrus" have some fun trying to work that one out on acid!Revolution? Long and winding road? I want to hold you hand? Glass onion? I am the walrus?
**** it way too many to pick from.
GUYS NEW FRIGHTENED RABBIT OMG. IT'S ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS AND HAUNTING. THIS HAS ACTUALLY MADE MY DAY.![]()
On the debate about good music being released these days, I know some get emotive about this topic, but I actually think there is a lack of new decent music. The charts have been horrendous for years - and I know you'll say look beyond the charts, but in my opinion you shouldn't have to. I don't agree that you should be spoonfed all the time, but it's pretty sad that whenever you turn on the radio absolute filth comes out of it.
Depends which station you listen to to be honest.
I don't listen to those, but Triple M and Triple J play decent stuff most of the time.Yeah, I'm just talking about the station I've listen to for the last 20+ years Triple J. Still plays some good music but it seems it plays a lot more crap than it used to.
Unfortunately I get get any of the cool indepent stations up here in the bush.

Yeah not a fan of the electro stuff they play.I find triple J plays a lot more crap than it used to, or maybe it plays a lot more of the styles/genres I'm not into.

Yep it seems on the wane which is great.Im not a fan of hip/hop. Thankfully the days of every second song(or it seemed) being that are gone.
If he runs as an independent it's going to be hilarious. Are people ready for another 9 months of Donald Trump goodness?
Yeah I usually listen to my ipod in the car, but lately it's not been working, not sure why, so been forced to listen to the radio which is generally painful.Triple J has way too much electronica for my tastes these days. Like with most genres, I don't mind some of it but a majority of it does nothing for me and it seems to compromise about three quarters of the hottest 100. Generally speaking though, I can't say I listen to the radio, I just make some playlists from my collection and give them a spin.
Check out their other stuff first. This song is their first in three years and it's about him coming to terms with leaving Scotland and living in LA and how alone he felt for the short period of time he was there. He's lyrically very brilliant too which gives it added depth. Their sound is actually nothing like those bands usually. Most music is quite cyclical anyway.Sounds like Mercury Rev, Grandaddy or any of a myriad of late 90s American indie bands who were all trying to channel Radiohead.
Rock music by and large has been stuck in a 20 year time warp
