Live breaking news: Cabramatta man jailed for brazen train trip to Armidale

AUGUST 17, 2021 6:45PM

NSW police were 'frustrated' with COVID rulebreakers

A 31-year-old man has been jailed for breaching public health orders and travelling by train from Sydney to Armidale in NSW's north.

Police say the man left his Cabramatta home on Sunday, before using public transport to travel via Newcastle to the New England region.

He was arrested at Armidale Railway Station and has been sentenced to two months prison after a hearing in the Armidale Local Court yesterday.

New England Police Chief Inspector David Cooper said that “people who blatantly breach our stay-at-home orders will be dealt with strongly”.

Fears for regional NSW are escalating, after a stack of public health alerts were issued for potential exposure sites across Dubbo, Mudgee and Broken Hill.

Of NSW’s 452 new cases today, 18 were from the Western NSW local health district, with confirmed infections in the state’s west now past 100.

“This is a really critical time in Bourke and I know across the rest of the region,” Western NSW Local Health District chief executive Scott McLachlan said today.

The 36-year-old comedian Tim Dillon joked that Australians only recently learned to use knives and forks and that the strict lockdowns had been met with nationwide support. The new-yorker was quick to add he had lots of Australian friends who were loving not having to go to work.

“Australia has like 12 cases and they’re literally chaining people,” he said.

“But Australians like that, they like the government, they trust the government. The government has been good to Australia.

“People asking why Australians aren’t angry, they’re perpetually lazy, descendants of criminals.”

The comedian continued to say “simple” Aussies didn’t mind not being able to go to work, and we’re loving the chance to spend our days getting drunk and barbecuing.

“Australians are simple people, all they want to do is get drunk and grill (barbecue). All they want to do is get hammered in their backyards and put meat on a grill.

“When you tell them not to work they go “all right”. Do you think Australia is demanding to work?

“No one cares, they just want to get bombed on their couch and put a shish kabob on the grill.

“This is the best-case scenario for them, they don’t have to work, they’re descendants of criminals.”

I'm surprised more people are not concerned and questioning why the compromised Brad Hazzard is gloating about taking 24,000 kids and jabbing them next week.

They are not adults able to give informed consent. Are they being given all information of the experimental nature of the gene therapy injections and the risks?

Especially relevant is the many times higher than expected myocarditis and pericarditis. The risk is age and gender dependent and should be represented as such especially to the high risk young men's groups, instead of a general average. Those groups are up to 100 times more likely than the unjabbed to experience it, when their risk of dying from COVID is zero?

I can't tell if this comment is a pisstake, but yes
Not a pisstake. Nothing can explain this away, and it shows theres at the very minimum a spiritual battle. Add things like cross and rosaries burning skin, the bible being the only thing still dry, and the possession going away when the holy word is read or the name of Jesus is invoked, and then you have a very christian-angle to it all.

Saw in the comments section too, people noticed it was raining in the background while Don Decker was being interviewed about it...maybe the producers did it for effect but still kind funny.

opions on stuff like religion are fluid, when new evidence pops up that you aren't aware of it can change ones mind.

Im not a religious man myself, think we all become worm food when we die, but there is no disputing something like that, makes me wonder and question myself.
