South Africa's latest lottery draw has sparked outrage after 20 people took home a share of the winning prize.

The numbers for Tuesday's PowerBall lottery were five, six, seven, eight and nine while the PowerBall itself was announced to be 10.

The organisers said 20 people purchased a winning ticket and won $500,000 each.

Another 79 ticketholders won $550 each for guessing the sequence from five up to nine but missing the PowerBall.

Isiah “Butch” Robertson, the hard-hitting All-Pro linebacker who starred for the Rams in the 1970s, had an advanced case of a neurodegenerative disease linked to repeated brain trauma, according to a wrongful death lawsuit filed Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court on behalf of his family.
The lawsuit against the NCAA said Robertson was diagnosed with chronic traumatic encephalopathy after he died in a car accident in December 2018 at age 69. According to the suit, he had Stage 3 of the disease, with Stage 4 being the most serious.
“Later in life, Isiah’s mental and physical health began to deteriorate,” the 14-page complaint said. “Isiah began to experience sleep disturbances, headaches, outbursts, loss of ability to control his emotions, trouble recalling information, anger management issues, reckless behavior, and a lack of a filter when speaking.”


According to the lawsuit, Robertson “sustained numerous brain injuries” while playing at Southern University in Louisiana from 1967 to 1970 without “adequate concussion management protocols or policies in place to address and treat brain injuries sustained by Isiah and others during practices and in games.”

The lawsuit, which doesn’t name the school as a defendant, accuses the NCAA of not educating football players about brain injuries and not implementing various rules to protect those who suffered concussions.

“As a direct and proximate result of the NCAA’s conduct, Isaiah sustained serious injuries and death,” the complaint said.

The NCAA didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

Punter misses out on $72k from $3 PL bet after disastrous cash out call

Leeds’ late goal confirmed the correct score for the second game.
One punter was left cursing their luck after cashing out an incredible £40,600 ($72,000) for less than £3,000 ($5,000) after a wild bet on Manchester United and Liverpool over the weekend.

The football fan placed a £2 ($3.55) double at odds of 20,300/1 on Liverpool beating Crystal Palace 7-0 and Manchester United beating Leeds United 6-2.

The first bet came in on Saturday with the Reds romping to victory at Selhurst Park thanks to braces from Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah to compliment strikes from Takumi Minamino, Sadio Mane and Jordan Henderson.

But the punter seemingly lost their nerve in the 61st minute of the game at Old Trafford with Manchester United leading 4-1 after scoring two goals in the opening three minutes through Scott McTominay.

Bruno Fernandes and Victor Lindelof made it 4-0 before Liam Cooper brought it back to 4-1 by half time.
And perhaps it was Manchester United missing a whole host of chances just after the break which prompted the punter to cash out for £2,279.56 ($4,046.87).

However, then United scored two more goals in quick succession through Daniel James and a second from the penalty spot from Bruno Fernandes before a stunner from Stuart Dallas confirmed the result at 6-2.
