There are many reasons why people have different reactions. No two people are the same but everyone gets the same dose. It still works for you.

Tik Tok channel, tech dev who dives into how evil Facebook is with tracking and data mining, and where Meta is leading to a dystopian world, education system via Meta, not real life, etc, eventually people living in Meta because itll be more fun and interesting than real life. Full on The Matrix slavery coming.

There are many videos so rather than post the specific ones, posting the channel and you can flick thru them to find the relevant ones.

In short tho.....facebook, google, etc dont literally listen to conversations, itd be a crime of political espionage and too cumbersome anyway. Instead, even if you dont have facebook etc, or the apps, other apps track everything you do online and send data to facebook etc anyway, and they piece together everything about you, from your IP, your device mac, and even keep track of how often your device is in the vicinity of other peoples devices (partner, sister, friend etc) so if they search for a sofa say, you will start seeing ads for sofas. Learns human behavior, the humans you interact with, and builds a comprehensive ID of you, all your online nuances, shopping habits, places visited, online content youve shown interest in etc. Facebook especially dangerous because most of the world (poorer countries etc) only have Facebook as their internet source. So Facebook is king, the core that all other tech uses....everything from clearview facial recognition, to Google, everything.
