Can we please start some sort of movement to claim this guy?? People are alright with pulling tennis players from any old country, why can't we have Aussie Irving?

Gotta watch out for dat Rajan though.

Its funny reading the comments on like the site where article is posted and ***** are like **** him we dont want him his parents are american or whatever seriously **** off and claim him its good for Australian basketball.

Howdy all,

First time poster on the BF NBA board and a Bucks fan (for now) and just thought I would raise the topic of the latest rumor doing the rounds in the states coming into draft week....

* Timberwolves are shopping their #2 pick around trying to get a bigtime centre to compliment Kevin Love as well as somehow staying in the lottery themselves.

* T-Wolves have spoken to Milwaukee regarding a #2 pick and bit players (Johnny Flynn amongst them) for Andrew Bogut and #10 pick. The Bucks would then use #2 to take Derrick Williams and the T-Wolves favour Alec Burks at #10 if the trade was to go through.

Timberwolves will most likely take the best offer for their #2 pick.

Will wait and see how the week pans out I guess.

My source - well "I'm a Bucks fan (for now)" and have a personally signed Bogut jersey hanging on my wall.....I'll let you fill in the gaps :)

Look forward to reading and posting on this board over the course of the next few weeks.

And a quick shout out to Mess....a good Hawthorn FC man :D

Cheers guys and gals

Rumour about suggesting the Suns send Gortat and pick #13 to Sota for #2 and Nikola.

Very glad to see the Suns will buy out Carter. I reckon the Knicks would be dumb enough to get him.

Heard the same in regards to the bogut rumour, the 2+ flynn and most likely pekovic for bogut + 10. To be used on either Brooks or Burks.

Wonder what source your using, hmm let me see whoelse is from near your location that might have an idea of whats going on...pretty sure the big mans in town:cool:

So here's a question:

Gortat or Bogut?

Well didn't they make an offer for Pau?

Clearly they are after another big to help Love out.
Yeah they're definitely after a big man to play alongside Love. I read an article somewhere that mentioned that Minnesota were shopping the #2 pick and were looking for a 'veteran' big man. Can't find it now though.

So here's a question:

Gortat or Bogut?

Surely you'd have to go Bogut. Bogut is a defensive monster up there with Dwight as best defensive centres he's also a known quantity, it's less uncertain i feel with Gortat who's had one good season playing with Steve Nash, who could make me look good!

I can't comprehend that, if Pau Gasol is actually traded for the 2nd pick David Kahn should be fired on the spot, Getting a soon to be 31 yr old, who's on a ridiculous contract, been labelled "soft" in the pasts when we need a defensive presence is just ludicrous!

I do believe the question was rhetorical.
My mistake then. Best to just ignore me, new to this board and don't know what I'm doing. :D

Yup Minny win that trade hands down. Bogut next to Love would be lethal and there is no guarantee in this year's draft that the #2 pick will better than the #10 pick. If that trade gets done Minny should make the playoffs easily, especially with Rubio coming across as well.

As much as I'd like to see Bogut get out of Milwaukee, are the Bucks brass really going to pull the trigger on this trade, therefore admitting that their ridiculous spending during the last off-season on guys like Salmons and Gooden was a major **** up, while leaving the very same guys to lead the team into the next season? It may be the right move for them, but it would mean owning up to their incompetence, which is fairly rare.

Send him to Philly I say.

Minny don't deserve him. They will turn him into a spud. ;)

Well as long as they have Bogut on their side they will be a team destined to challenging for the 8th seed in the eastern conference, A blowup of the team is needed. Thus unloading Bogut not only gives them the #2 pick in this draft, but a higher selection next year in a very good draft.
