There is no way that mock draft is close. Drummond at 10? I'll take that punt already having Davis locked up

Interested to see what Portland do with 6 and 11. With 6 BPA seems the best way to go. It seems that Davis is clear number one and then the next 5 could go anywhere. So Blazers will take whichever falls through (Beal, MKG, Robinson, Drummond, Barnes)
Depending on the way the 6 pick goes, 11 could go anywhere. Gaps on the roster everywhere for us. I'd be happy with any of Lillard, Lamb, Sullinger, Rivers and Marshall at 11

Yeah I am very interested to see which direction we take, do we think about trading one of the picks along with say Wes to see what we can get??

At least we have finally hired a GM (fairly happy with Olshey), now we just need a coach (looking more likely that we keep Canales though )

Not much. Very highly rated out of HS. Had big expectations for both his College seasons so far, but Memphis has been underwhelming to say the least (were supposed to have the best backcourt in the country, stuff like that)

From what I remember, hes a big time scorer, but not very efficiently. Athletic, but lightly built.

Was a 1st round pick for quite some time as well. Hasn't been in many Mocks I've seen so far. But he's definitely worth a late 1st. Much better than a 2nd rounder

I like what Will Barton brings to the table. He is long, athletic, shoots high percentage and is a good rebounder for a guy of his build. Would see him going late 1st round, but guess GM's are worried about his physique and shot selection from the perimeter...

Trolling? The Spurs always draft well.

Yeah, we'll draft some bloke from Kazakhstan that we'll stash away for 2 years and then bring them in and they'll be a complete gun...

...meanwhile in New Orleans they'll **** up the no. 1 pick. :p

I have a bit of a soft spot for the Blazers. They've had so much bad luck in the draft over the years, that they're due for a good one. Will be very interested to see which direction they go...

Am really looking forward to what Orlando will do with pick 19... First time in ages that we have had a top 20 pick, and either Moe Harkless from St. John's or Tony Wroten Jr. from Washington would be good for us! Both freshmans, both lengthy and both have good potential.

Don't have a lot of knowledge on this years draft class, but it seems like the Magic definitely need some offensive fire power. Dwight works much better as the 2nd option.

Cavs apparently likely to draft Harrison Barnes at 4. Makes sense for them. Someone to take the scoring pressure off Irving and he is a solid 2 way player.

Meanwhile the Kings looking at Henson. Right TYPE of player but I am not sure he is the RIGHT player...if that makes sense.

Kings taking Henson at 5 is Huge reach trade down a few spots and you can still get him
If we go for Henson then I am sure we will try and trade down and shed one of the ugly contracts.

By the same token, Petrie has been known to pick the player he likes even when people think that the players is a reach at the time. Classic example is Jason Thompson. Experts had him going in the 20s and we picked him at 12 and he has proven to be well worth that pick in a pretty average draft.

One thing Petrie does well is evaluate talent. As long as Maloofs stay out of it, Petrie will pick a good player. Not a superstar but a good solid PRO.

There is really only 2 players in the draft with a clear superstar potential and one of them has a hihg bust potential as well (Drummond). Everyone else is a borderline all-star (3.4 players), good solid pro or out of the league within 4 years.

Wow, already Davis in a Hornets jersey... legit or photoshop? Perhaps a leftover from the Baron? :) Surely a draftee hasn't posed on the front cover of a mag in the team uniform of a team they haven't yet been drafted to before? Anyway, I like that the draft isn't clear cut unlike the 2009 AFL draft where the top 8 or 10 were set in stone and everyone knew it. Hopefully there's not too many busts, I enjoy seeing players develop and improve.

I would definately say shopped, Or Ariza is not gonna be happy that he already lost his number.

Watching the combine for the first time at the moment.

This is classic to watch the kids do their stuff. The AFL needs to get something like this going.
