Fair enough. How would you describe him?

He isn't really anything you can describe. He's a not a jump shooter at all. He is quite effective in the low post back to the basket stuff. Can also face up from the high post and use his strength and handling to get to the rim.

Cheers for that.

From what I've read I'd agree with that and he's also really being seen who is either a match up nightmare (i.e too fast for 4's and too big for 3's) or a tweener who might bust (i.e. too slow to guard 3's, too small to guard 4's).

I read something today on another blog which made a hell of a lot of sense.

"In the NBA, you are who you can guard". On that, you'd say White is a 4.

Can someone explain why the Wolves have done this?

How many completely average wings does one team need?
Chase is a good role player with athleticism and a very good shooter from long range! I think he fits in well in Minny and Adelman is obviously a fan.

The last thing Minny needs is another kid that might make it

I did forget the Adelman connection but there still seems no rhyme or reason to their depth chart on the wings. Rick might have big plans for him though.

Complete robbery from Houston well done Morey

Budinger isnt that good
Neither is pick 18.

It amazes me how people overrate picks in a draft. Its all of a sudden got super powers where the player at 18 is going to be better than Budigner and history would suggest that pick 18 is likely going to flop.

With Chase you know you are getting a solid role player and sometimes those sort of guys are valuable on good teams.

Robbery? Bullshit.

He's better than what was on offer at 18 and he'll contribute straight away. His recent output is better than anything we are getting on the wings (it's about the league average for his position).

He's not an all star and never will be, but then no one is giving up one of those for the chance to draft Fab Melo.

And for $942k salary Minne have a solid swingman to assess at next to nothing. Given that was their major weakness last year it's no harm at all giving Chase a run at it and instead of drafting a rookie on a guaranteed contract that is far higher for more years that they may be even less convinced on @ 18.

Royce would have gone top 10 if he went to a big school

i think his anxiety issues are overblown tbh i dont think he will have that much of a problem in the League

I highly doubt he's the only player with anxiety issues. A lot of them probably don't/didn't even know they have it, just 'nerves' which they get over with the NBA lifestyle. Playing 82 games of NBA basketball per year, having dem hoes thrown at you in VIP clubs would be a pretty effective for retraining the irrational thought processes.
