Tell them that the Embassy Cafe at the top end of Spencer st sell fish and chips at this hour.
Unfortunately this pelican is very particular about its fish and chips. We have the desirable fish and chips which we would rather eat ourselves but it may be given to the pelican if necessary

Because we can get NDS practically for free by waiting til 1pm Friday?

It'll be worth it when he spots up Black.
The problem is that St Kilda can't make up their mind. The simple way to deal with anyone that can't make up their mind is to not deal with them at all! If they really want Delaney they would have soon come to the party if there was a threat of him going to another club. It wouldn't surprise me one bit in the slightest if this was all a big circle jerk to prevent us from being proactive in finding another bidder for Delaney? By the time this fiasco plays out most clubs will have committed to other deals and Delaney won't be foremost in their minds. Pelican is a rat cunning shit and I wouldn't put such a tactic past him.

Luke will be fine. We will get him to StKilda, no doubts. NDS I'm concerned about, but if the Saints want to wait til 1 tomorrow, then so be it.

Only if they cross streams.

So any updates on NDS?

Back in the country? Opened his mouth? Manager said anything? Locked and loaded?

Aaaaaaaah!

Any other potential deals?

Sorry for all the questions but with no inner scrotum knowledge I rely on BF and trade radio with a dash of SEN for all my trade news.

Sounds like we might be giving up our 2nd rounder then?

I mean our special flake, or whatever cipher we're talking in.

Went for a stroll today near Arden St. and saw an apparent meeting in a cafe. One man, who it seemed struggled to fill out his underwear, was in the process of signing some sort of document before, would you believe, a pelican swooped in and stole the pen. Now I wasn't exactly privy to the conversation, but it appeared none had a spare pen handy so I'm guessing the document will be signed as soon as they find that pelican and get the pen back
I don't wish to expose old wounds, but what if we had a cafe at Aegis Park? It could have made this all go quicker.

And fresh towels...

For mine and many others here a KD player to backup the Thompson, Grima and Hansen would be ideal with a later pick. Delaney is the best FB in the country not getting a regular game who happens to be held out by the AA FB and is just reaching his prime.

Care to name a better KD player than Delaney we could get with our 3rd rounder or even pick 37?

He's worth 37 every day of the week imo.
If we lose nds because of haggling over trying to get a better pick for keys then we are fools. Mcintos h went 37 hence keys has to be 50 plus. If he was worth more he would have pushed his way into team. If not for injuries would not have played a senior game this year

McIntosh only went for 37 because of his injuries otherwise we would have had got a lot more for him. As for Delaney, you don't sell your backup defenders cheaply regardless of how many games he played.

Remember we are not selling him he wants to leave! Can go preseason we will get nothing and most likely end up at saints anyway

Cant name me a better FB that could impact today that we could get with pick 37? I dont know why people think fringe players have no value at all particularly at North atm as it appears we're widely tipped for a top 6 spot, its not like clubs only use 22 players in a season, its not like even second round picks are a guarantee to net a player. Then we're talking the best FB in the land not getting a regular gig.

If its only the deference between R3 and R4 picks for getting Dal Santo then the Saints know they're getting end first round compo. Think they want to risk not getting that pick for NDS other than 3 years service when they'll be non competitive? OF course they wont. But i do agree if it comes to it id accept a R4 rather than a R3 to get it done, but maybe North are a bit pissed how StKilda have handled it.

Anyway we'll soon find out, lets hope for all parties it gets done.......... via FA only!

On behalf of everyone at the club, I just want to congratulate everyone on BF for making the 8,000 post milestone. It is an incredible achievement and with the Trade/FA period set to go to 9 weeks next year, the sky is the limit.

Hang in there people.
Heath, when it is finally done you should post it here first, as a reward to the loyal fans who have not slept for three weeks waiting for this one deal to be done. ;)
