I know they made it to the finals but I truly think Mavericks are a mile off,

PJ Washington not up to the level once they got to the finals series. Just looked lost and terrible and Jones Jnr is just a cheap stopgap who is not the answer. ALmost feel like they need 2 starters. Washington is fine from the bench as is Jones Jnr

Probably need to move Josh Green on for a starter of some form and then find a good free agent somewhere .

Lakers fans can enjoy their covid cup and in season tournament - we’ll celebrate banner 18 instead!

Boston Celtics Reaction GIF by NBA
I notice you guys went missing in the In Season Tournament. Nice consolation today though.

Interesting team the Celtics. They are basically 5 wings on offence now, one of whom is big enough to play as a big on defence. It is certainly a different structure to what we have seen from anyone else in the past

Getting Holiday has been severely underrated too

This side could easily win 2-3 championships

Not sure anyone’s underrated him other than the bucks who overrated what Dame could achieve over & above & we all know how that turned out.

End of the day the bucks handed us the final piece to Banner 18 the fools.😎

Not that it matters because we are CHAMPIONS.

7 to 4 is a bigger margin than i thought it should be, i would have thought 6-5 either way would have been correct.

If you judge it purely on stats then Tatum wins, but for me JB was the primary defender on Luka, and whilst not stopping him, kept him below his normal productivity.

Well barring any major injuries to the starting 5, it’s likely to be b2b, so strap yourself in.

Hardest year to go back-to-back.

Having two of our starters playing Olympic basketball this offseason will make their ability to rest and be fresh for next season impossible. Porzingis likely going in for surgery. White getting some dental work done for sure lol.

Congrats Celts. Most consistent team all year. Stoked for Jrue too, deserves all his success.

On to the trade and draft period. Hope a few teams reload and we get a better playoffs next season.
Draft looks pretty poor this year.

I thought Brown had a bigger impact on the series.

What about old mate beatnik? What a punish.

I’m here, haven’t gone anywhere…I’m honestly glad to hear that me supporting my team irks you so much…please allow me to add to your discomfort:

the Mavs were beaten by a much better side…if we played that series over again, it would get the same result

We beat 3 x 50-win teams which is an amazing achievement for such a young side - we came up against a 64-win team who showed us what they’ve learned in 5 years of pushing for a title…they showed us the urgency and desperation it takes to be the champions…there’s absolutely no asterisk next to this title for Boston - they earned it fair and square…anyone who says otherwise is hating ☘️

I’m super proud of the Mavs who are deceptively young and definitely ahead of schedule - we went from missing the playoffs to the Finals in one season and will
Grow so much from these playoffs

Kyrie is 32 and Jone Jr is 27…the rest of our starters are 25 and under…that doesn’t even consider star 20yo rookie Derek Lively; impressive 23yo bench tyro Josh Green; interesting 6’8” 3-and-D Omax; or future THJ replacement/microwave scorer 22yo Jayden Hardy…we also have no Free Agent fears and the assets and salary cap wiggle room for one medium-sized move to upgrade our bench deprh (Bogdanovic? 😮)

So yes, it hurts to lose a Finals series but the future is so bright in Dallas that I just had to come here and tell you, specifically, all about it

The Mavs community thanks you for your support 🙏 🤣
