Brian Scalabrine, GOAT.

I guess the Celtic team that won the championship was the best you have been part of…

BS: It’s funny that you ask that because the team that won in ‘08 was really good but I really believe that the 2010 team during the playoffs was a better team. But that ‘08 team was one the best regular-season teams I’ve ever been on.

How close were last season’s Bulls to those teams?

BS: Not really close. You lack experience at playoff level. Derrick Rose needs to go through the bumps and bruises of the playoffs to get over the hump. If you watched the games against Miami, the Heat knew hot to get over the hump. Dwyane Wade and LeBron James both have been in the Finals and Dwyane has performed in the Finals. So you have to get that – being there and making it. I can only assume Derrick Rose has been working his tail off this summer thinking about Miami and what he’s going to do down the stretch playing against LeBron. You have to go through that. Michael Jordan had to get through the Pistons, and the Pistons had to get through the Celtics. It’s like once you go through that, then that’s when you become a better team.

WTF are these reports of the Celtics interested in signing Allen Iverson, we got burnt by singing a few old grampas like Sheed and the Celtics, I'd be fuming if we signed AI

Well it's true, I don't live in Boston or New York so it doesn't really matter who I follow. I starting following the Celtics when I started watching NBA in 2004 because it ran in the family and I picked the Giants as a random team when I purchased Madden NFL 04 in 2005. Last time I checked you don't really know much about rivalries in overseas sports when your not even ten and didn't have a computer at home.

Well in a BigFooty exclusive, I have managed to attain a copy of Mike Brown's fabled strong corner offense. Y'all welcome.

Well it sorta does. There are few states where you cant follow teams from either of them and the mecca is New York and Boston.

also
Economic projections from sources say the salary cap will then grow to about $60-$61 million in 2012, when the Knicks will have the largest cap space in the league and have room to woo either Chris Paul, Deron Williams or Dwight Howard, who are slated to become free agents. The Knicks could be at least $20 million under the projected 2012 cap.

Instead the Knicks will get Isaih Thomas back to sign Yao Ming out of retirement along with new point guard Greg Oden to a 23 year deal.

I'd wear one if I went to the Celtics vs Knicks. I'd love to change to the Patriots now that I'm older and know more about the rivalries but I've grown attached to the Giants and I'd see myself as a bandwagon fan if I changed to the Pats. I may change someday who knows. I'll never change from the Celtics though. I wouldn't be showing off that fact I follow the Celtics though in LA. I've heard of numerous reports of Celtics fans getting mobbed by Lakers fans after they played each other.
