Certified Legendary Thread The Official Bigfooty NBA 2022-3 Week 8 Thread: Where the Suns finally break their FT hoodoo?

To quote renowned basketball scholar Son of Skeletor

To be fair to Look2Me4Guidance , the Suns have played three games in the last fortnight where the FT disparity has been 103-28.

I defy anyone to watch their team's opponents shoot 400% more free throws and not feel frustrated. It is what it is.

Today we aim to celebrate..... if the Suns finally achieve the impossible, more FTs than its opponent (the hapless Spurs). In the 3rd, the Suns are leading the FT count by a slender margin 18-16. Wait make that 18-17. Oh boy!!

In the other early game, the Pelicans are handing a beat down on the Nuggs. Imagine tipping the Nuggs to win the west.

Also the discussions (even from some Lakers homies) about trading AD for some future picks and fringe young players.
Never really made sense, you would just be an awful team, without its own picks and Selling AD at his lowest value.

The demise of Lebron also has been greatly overstated, still clearly a top 10 player. The level these two are playing at and how wide open the west is should have the Lakers front office reconsidering moving on those two first round picks

Is he? Not sure I'd have him top 10 personally.

Westbrook has also been pretty good for the Lakers this year, seems to me Ham has got the chemistry working with Russ and his Laker teammates finally

Alvarado with 38 off the bench against the Nuggets. What a time Son of Skeletor

No way, Jose!

Just a regular season game, but a huge win for us in context.

Without BI and Herb, but our only other date this week is a home game against Detroit. Means those two get a full 10 days off without any damage to our record. We have a tough schedule coming up, so every win is like gold.

Still reckon Denver's a monte for a top-2 seed, but their bench needs sorting.

Kings are 5th in the West with more than quarter of the season played. Really keen for Sacramento making the playoffs again before Essendon win another final.

Pretty tight in the West standings though, almost every team there right now, aside from the Rockets and Spurs could still qualify for at least the plan in tournament.

Not a fan of Adam Silver but he promised to bring Parity to the league, and for the most part he has delivered.

Would argue that the race for All Star spots (esp on the bench) has never been as strong as it has been in the early-mid 90s. We have so much talent (esp young) in the NBA this season it's wonderful.

SGA deserves to be an ASG starter in the West but unfortunately probably won't get in due in playing for one of the smaller marker and unfashionable markets in the NBA.

So which of Steph and Luka do you want to put on the bench for him?
