I blame lebron for creating or strongly pushing super team culture.

Not that long ago he was LeGMing kawhi-ad-lebron.

You reap what you sow perhaps.

Feel sorry for the Giannis of the world taking the hardest path :(
Rubbish, there have always been super teams. You don’t think the 60s Celtics was a super team? 80s Celtics and Lakers? Old but 2000s Rockets?

The Lakers aren’t a super team now. 2 current all stars and a deepest bench. Nets have the super team yet you lament the Dame and Giannis types. Wow.

Lebron and ad isn't a super team but 2 top5 players together is pretty soft.

Almost got kawhi too..

Allen. Wade. Bosh. Irving. Bosh... Can't blame kd for copying. And doing it better.

You are not making much sense with that list of names my friend. Almost got makes that Kawhi stuff irrelevant, in the 80s, the Lakers almost got Barkley and Olajuwon. Barkley for Worthy and Akeem Olajuwon in free agency. Means nothing because it didn't happen.

Apparently the Lakers (somehow) can afford to sign Andre Drummond once he is bought out, but the Celtics cannot, even with that space we got from the Hayward departure.

Kinda pissed about that (more at Ainge than anyone else really)

Don't worry he will go to the nets.

They can offer him like five times more and a host of other reasons.

He is off to the Lakers mate. Pretty much a done deal in principal.

Nets just signed Blake Griffen anyway. Doubt they have the cap space.

They have about 5 times more space than the lakers. Lakers can't offer more than minimum unlike brooklyn

There is a number of other reasons he will likely pick the nets. Such as

"
  • he's from NYC and went to school in the east coast [UCONN]
  • he's buddies with Kevin Durant
  • played with Blake in Detroit
  • played with Harden and Kyrie in the 2014 FIBA World Cup
  • has the same agent as Blake and DJ, Jeff Schwartz
  • before Schwartz, he fired his then agent, Rob Pelinka whose the Vice President of Basketball Operations for the Lakers
  • nets can offer more money than the lakers [5.7 mil vs 1.2 mil]"
  • Probably a bigger role at Brooklyn instead of being behind gasol. Harrell and ad come crunch games when he plays the 5
