Im always impressed with players ability to memorise specific and individual pre game handshakes for each of their team mates. Some are accompanied by dance.

especially prevalent post bubble. Suppose they had nothing better to do

Giannis is the best player in the league, but the winning thing is overplayed imo.

Giannis is now a proven play off performer and yet he was half a KD shoe size away from being considered a joke and someone who can't perform in play offs.

Embiid is currently playing with a team that has Tobias 'max contract' Harris as his 2nd best player, KD, Jokic, Giannis none of them are winning with that team either.

Giannis is amazing, as is Embiid and Jokic. Roster construction plays a big part in who can carry a team further over the next couple years.

"he was half a KD shoe size away from being"

Kd is the snake who joined the perhaps strongest ever superteam (again)

Giannis was playing in a s**t city with a middling roster.

Jrue has woeful offensive games often and was rejecting open 3s by the end

Middleton was widely talked about as the Tobias Harris not good enough to be as a 2/3 option on a championship team

Lopez was cooked.

Portis was a meme.

Tucker fat slow 0 points every 2nd game 6'5

Donte didn't play with injury

Winning isn't overrated and Giannis would have got closer if his team wasn't so bad the last few years

None of this is relevant to my point, if KD hits that 3 instead of a 2 the Bucks are going home early again.

He would be just as good of a player as he was after winning the title but the public perception would be he can't perform in play offs.

Giannis is the best player in the league, winning a title does help that case but it is not everything.

Embiid with a better roster around him can absolutely contend for a title and same with Jokic.

If your aunty had balls

If kawhis shot bounces out v the sixers Simmons is likely a nba champion by now.

Giannis is often the mvp and dpoty too and most efficient season ever according to the commentators. If the bucks lose to the nets Giannis is still better than a good player.

Winning helps a lot and beating a superteam of that level , is the cherry on top.

Giannis doesn't have a greatly better teammates than embiid or jokic if at all

No... Like not at all

If that Kawhi shot misses the Sixers still need to win in OT, beat the Bucks and than beat the Warriors... That is not all that likely

Also the second point you said is literally the point i am making... Giannis is the best player in the league because he is the best player in the league, winning wasn't necessary in him being recognised as the best imo. But to others it is seen that way.

Far enough but maybe the bucks hit the winner after the time out. In the timeline kd is further back.

Big ass feet maybe the shot misses if he's further back

Sixers were a good chance in OT and smash the warriors if they get same injury

I Think it's debatable that the Bucks roster is all that much better than Philly's tbh

Dunno why there's this discussion about who is hypothetically the best winner.

Right now? It definitely is.

The Bucks second and third best players fit next to Giannis, which is more than can be said for Philly re. Embiid.

Hornets play-by-play guy.

Daryl Eastlake school of commentary.

Honestly I can't believe how popular he is with fans. Richie Benaud was a great commentator. The Hornets guy just yells really loudly. Dislike the Raptors' play by play guy for the same reason

Well that is Morey's fault really. He has really mishandled this whole Simmons situation badly and done some questionable acquisitions too.

He is going to cost Philly a legit chance at a ring this season for being so arrogant and stubborn over Simmons.

Frankly trading Ben now for say John Collins or Tyrese Haliburton plus a couple of other players and or picks, whilst not ideal, is probably as good a deal the Sixers can get for Simmons, they sure as s**t are not getting Jaylen Brown, Dame or Bradley Beal for Simmons..

Just an real arsehole of a GM (Dopey Daryl)

That's not the question though. The question is whether Milwaukee has a better roster than Philly right now.

Not really sure Morey can be questioned on either front.

He didn't draft or extend Simmons. He didn't trade for or extend Harris. And he didn't sign Horford to a mega deal.

So far he traded Josh Richardson for Seth Curry - A+ move

Drafted Maxey late - solid A move

Dumped Horford for Green, at the cost of a pick - probably only a C+ move at best, but that's him cleaning up other people's messes. No win situation.

Signed Drummond and Niang as bottom of the barrel free agents, and they've been decent, particularly Niang.

If your criticism is that he hasn't traded away Simmons and/or Harris - well, that's easier said than done.

We can't pretend that we know what other teams have offered for Simmons.

Frankly it's a buyer's market, because other teams know the Sixers' dilemma, so he's fighting to even get back halfway decent compensation.

We only get speculation and guesses, not reports of actual trade offers. It's a bit harsh to disparage the guy for not making a deal yet when a) he's been dealt a lousy hand, and b) we have no idea whether the kind of offers he has been fielding have been sh1t sandwiches.
