My point stands. They’re a capable 3rd seed when fully fit as we saw today. Its no mean feat beating Spurs & they didn’t have Watson.

East teams including your Celtics would be drooling as the prospect of facing Denver over Spurs /OKC

If Gordon's fit, Denver can hang with anyone. If not, then their defence is probably too suspect.

In the broader context, forget having the #1 offence this season, they have two shot makers par excellence. That's what matters in the playoffs, and we have a decade of evidence that backs this up. They gave OKC a series last year and have better depth this year, wouldn't be writing them off on the basis of a few regular season games.

Tough to say who Denver would prefer first round, Houston or Minnesota. If they get out of the first round, do you want to face OKC in the 2nd round or the conference finals? Feel like you’re better playing them earlier when you’re fresher.

A lot on the line. We have to beat the Knicks today as we finish with Cavs - Cavs - Heat which are easily all losable. Takes a lot of pressure off to hold 3 game margin and would guarantee worst case of home play in.

The only tricky match up out of the play in teams would be Boston copping Charlotte. Still think Boston win that but it might go to 6.
