Gutsy win for the underdog?

Also Jingles might end up costing himself 6MOTY by piling up numbers as a starter.

A different way to think about it. The 6th man of the year award is theoretically the 151st man of the year award. Because you aint one of the 150 starters.

Technically true.

Then you look at some of the players the Pistons, Thunder, Magic etc are starting, and you think "hmmm, maybe if I'd worked harder I could have started for an NBA team too".

One thinks receiving a 6moty award > starting for those beforementioned teams

They really are an all star guard away from being a serious team in the east

RJ has become an elite scorer and a legit number 2/3 option
Credit to coach Thibs, and the front office.

Haven't seen the game, but unless he's improved significantly at creating his own shot I doubt this is the case.

He might be excellent off open looks though ;)

He’s a perfect third option. Can play defense and if you don’t think he is clutch you haven’t seen many fourth quarters of late. He has been great since January

Trade Mitch and a stack of future firsts for Lavine or Beal and this team will be set

I'll watch the 4th quarter of today's to improve my understanding ;)

The Denver Nuggets have signed Austin Rivers to a 10-day contract.

Attempts 1.9 free throws a game over his career so this is a shrewd signing
