Then what was the motive? Highly unlikely he stayed because he is loyal. If you're in the nba not trying to win a ring then what are you doing? Back in the 80-90s there was a thing called loyalty but now if you're not chasing rings you're chasing money.

Maybe he just likes living in Washington? Maybe he has friends on the team? Perhaps he's giving the Wiz a two year window to improve the team? Who knows?

Whatever the reason, he plays a lot of minutes and doesn't complain. And he stuck with his team. Bit harsh to pot him for that.
 
He should just take the rest of the season off, there is no point in coming back for the risk of being injured.

I'm assuming you think Towns, DLo, Trae, Lavine etc should all be sitting as well then. Or any team as soon as they aren't making the playoffs.

Warriors have already taken there time with his recovery (it's taken 4 months instead of the originally predicted 3).

We need to see who on our roster actually play well with Steph to see if we should bring them back next year.

OFC he could get injured. But sitting a fit guy at the end of the season is bull s**t. Guy wants to play basketball.
