They has picks 1 and 4 iirc.

Should've traded up to 1 and 2

That's like saying "I should have become a millionaire, why didn't I do that?"

Griz weren't trading #2, it was common knowledge. They and pretty much everyone else saw Morant as superior to the rest, including Barrett.

They would have traded if the offer was good enough

Use the ad picks instead of trading down.

Hunter and barrett were good options too

Are North trading down from the #1 pick in this draft? Teams only do it if they like prospects equally and confident they can get one or the other at a later pick.

A lot of Pels fans wanted Zion AND Ja. It pretty quickly became clear that there was no chance of that happening.

The AD picks were useless when it comes to trading for such a high pick. There's every chance those picks could all end up in the 20s.

I'm assuming all of Jim's 19 FTs today have been legit and the refs aren't being pressured into giving superstars their quota of calls. Correct?

I havent watched the Kings much but apparently Fox is a bit of a mess in the clutch

Yeah, he and Luke Walton together are no bueno.

If I'm them, I'd much rather run a Haliburton/Holmes pick and roll, which they did today to us, and shredded our D.

They look a better team this season though, haven't played a bad game yet. Barnes/Holmes/Haliburton/Mitchell are all solid, solid guys.

C'mon man, we've done enough super dumb things as a team without having to invent imaginary ones via hindsight.

Zion was the consensus #1 pick that year, and had been for some time. Wasn't even an argument. He put up 27 per game last year at age 20 on ridiculous efficiency on a team with terrible spacing. Only injuries/weight will prevent him from being one of the all time greats.

Never thought I'd see "Zion needs to leave New Orleans for the good of his career" turn to "Zion is a fat bust" in the space of a few weeks, but here we are.

Come on man. Learn how to predict the future.
