Spurs, Clippers tied on 47 wins and play tomorrow, Thunder one win ahead on 48 and play the Bucks.
If Portland win out (Lakers today, Kings tomorrow) and Denver beat the Twolves then it would be Nugs 2nd, Portland 3rd (they own the Rocket series 2-1) and Houston 4th.
If Portland win out and Denver lose to Twolves then we have a threeway tie for 2nd all on 53 wins. Rockets get 2nd (because they're a Division winner), Nugs 3rd (they own the Portland series 3-1) and Portland 4th.
If portland lose one, and then they're stuck 4th, and 2nd/3rd depends on the Nuggets. If they Nugs lose and tie with Houston on 53 wins then Houston get second (they own the Nugs tie breaker 3-1), but if the Nugs win they go to 54 wins and edge the rockets out.
If Portland lose both, and Utah beat the Clippers tomorrow both will be tied on 51 wins. We split the season series 2-2, but Utah would claim 4th due to our superior Division record (.466 as opposed to Portlands .375).
Insane. BRB going to cheer the Lakers home v Portland so Utah are guaranteed we don't have to play the ******* Rockets.
