Only you could argue that a home and away game showdown (that port won) is bigger than a showdown final (that crows won)
God help you and your unbelievable bias Schulzy. God help you.
Me and just about every media outlet in the country. But you're very good at avoiding questions. I knew I'd have to repeat myself.
Which was more important, the home and away match between Hawthorn and Sydney in the final round of the season last year which decided the minor premiership and the order of the top 4 (and therefore led to Geelong coming up against Freo in the first week of finals and losing, and therefore decided the make up of the Grand Final), or Richmond versus Carlton playing off in a 5th vs 8th* elimination final last year?
If your answer is the former, then you're (correctly) admitting that some H&A games can be more important than some finals. If your answer is the latter, then you have a hugely warped version of what is and isn't a significant game. Although given how proud you are of how 'competitive' the Crows have been this century despite not having made a Grand Final, let alone won one, this wouldn't be surprising.
