So, I will have to be unlucky not to win. Just a bit worried that my 1800-ish score (bad one for me) will not get me into the remaining top half of the draw. Don't want to get a tough game early on - although it is a bit of the luck of the draw.

I reckon (from looking at various people's matchups) that your ranking is base on Rd 5 score and that if you are in the best helf of the draw you play RANDOMLY someone in the bottom half. A bit like any knockout competition. So it is a bit of luck involved on who you play. And if you win your Rd 6 matchup, you will be ranked on your Rd 7 score and will randomly play someone in the other half of the draw.

Correct. Your ranking is based on your score for the prvious round only (not your total). This ranking is used only to place you in either the top or bottom half of the draw. The matchups from there are done randomly.

The following was the reply sent to me from dreamteam support:

Each team in the top 65,536 entries is matched up against
another team in the next 65,536 entries based on their
weekly ranking at the completion of Round 5. The match-ups
are done at random.

How come all you guys get really easy opponents? Mine is ranked poorly but his team is just as good as mine, and the majority of his players have been doing well this week.

Looks like I could get knocked out very early, which is irritating.

I got 1944pts to beat my opponent who got 1532. That score should be enough to put me in the top half of the draw again. But it wasn't enough to win in one of my leagues. 6 measly points. Grrr.

I won mine by 845, the guy obviously doesn't actually play anymore though, 6 zeros on the field and 8 on the bench, who are all WCE rookies I might add, none of whom are close to playing.

I won by over 800, thats without rhyce shaws score added(DT live scores still show him as 0, where he scored 88) so it will be over 900.
