Hopefully a BigFooty member can take this out at the end of the year.

First match should be a walkover, as the top 20K teams will verse teams ranked 110,000-132,000.

oh shoot, thats not good. i had an above average score this round, but with so many guns misfiring it'd be the better teams that wouldve had a worse round this round, if that makes any sense. if they all fire at once...look out

I'm 623rd overall and I was 60,000th this week.

Gonna be interesting to see how the top teams go for the first few weeks - could be some landmines from teams that joined late. I'm ranked 1532 but coming off a bad week - got 1768 after 2028 last week. If I get past week 10 I'll be happy.

Wonder if the live scores will be on Eliminator as well?

Don't plan those walkovers too early. I bet you now some go down to teams that started after the first round was finished, has all the gun rookies and gun mid priced players.

I did this experiment in SC this year and it looks scary!

I think there was close to 132000 entries before round 1 started anyway.

Close but there wasn't that many. Personally I think they should only take the pre-round one entries and give byes to the rest. Plus there where those folkes that got to pick there side again after the meltdown ate there sides!

I'm sure they assumed that there would be more than 132,000 teams before round one, so probably didn't code anything smart enough to give certain teams a bye in round 1. They also probably think we are too dumb to understand how much of an advantages teams created after rd 1 would have.

The Second point could be true but the first point is somewhat easily fixed anytime up to the announcement of the sides in the eliminator.

Perhaps the rankings will only be for the first two weeks of the League Season the way the the League Ladder has been.

Amazed people aren't more excited about this.

When it is down to 32 teams this thing will be amazing!

Not expecting too much, but I'm nice and cosy in the top 26,000. What would you guys say a pass mark is for an average week in DT?

From memory, there was about 131k teams entered before round 1. I don't know how many teams were affected by the server crashing but it could be possible that the top 10-15K or so will get teams entered after round 1?

At least, the first round will be a challenge.

For top 30K? Probably 1700 or so.
Top 1000 is about 200 pts higher (a week).

If you are ranked 1 overall you could play the team ranked 65,537 this week?

Or if you are ranked 1 do you play the team ranked 131,072?

I started too slowly with only about 14 scoring players.

1899 and 1880 in the past two weeks though, so I'm building up.
