Team I play is no "walkover" as such, he averages just over 1600, and many of his young guys like Taylor and co are back in which doesnt help.

And to add to that, 13 of his players play tomorrow. Should be able to gauge whether it will be an easy victory or not from that!

You must be only averaging about 1700 to be playing someone that averages just over 1600?

I average 1830 after a very bad week last week and am playing someone averaging 1550?

Its not done of overall ranking, mine has been done on round 5 score.

I dont understand what you are saying? I average 1880 and im playing a side who averages 1600

my opponent has a full team, averages 912, has a negative change of team value, 17 zeros scored last week and has Luke Jericho in their team. crazy thing is they're ranked about 142,500, so there are so many more teams worse than this. oh well, gotta trim the undesirables first.

Sounds like most people in here have it pretty easy first up.

I am 240th overall and scored 1972 last week, yet i'm coming up against a team (which will have the full 22, unlike most), who averages just under 1700, and could give it a shake with the right players playing well.

I'm a little nervous walking into this first round.

of course everyone on here is versing someone easy first up because everyone on here knows how to play DT quite well...

the way they seem to work it is that they split the total 131,072 teams into two halves...65,536 teams in each half! Then the rankings from lat week match each other up....so the top scoring team from last week is matched up against the top scoring team from the second half (the team ranked 65,537 for the week)...

so it looks kind of like this I ASSUME:
1 vs 65,537
2 vs 65,538
3 vs 65,539 etc etc.

thus, seems as though most people here are ranked very highly, they have drawn a very weak opponent in the first round.....especially those who had a particularly poor week last week but are very well placed overall....

Ranking system seems a little dodgy. Won't matter for round one of course but down the track it could get a bit unfair. My ranking is around 7000 which is a little better than my weekly ranking.
