Yeah and it just creates a huge black market. Australian birds and lizards are in high demand on the black market and a huge percentage die as a result of transporting them there.

People bought the cute chimp and it doesnt last forever

My sister had a friend who had a chimp in Melb in the late 60s/early 70s .....must have been legal or not regulated ????
