Being serious - The Bulldogs were basically playing one short throughout the season (Johnson was all kinds of finished) but Carlton are a poorly coached side, with questionable key position quality.
A side with many high draft picks - enough to be (at this point) at least pushing for Preliminary Finals and looking like taking that next step. Fortunately they don't. Ratten was a Kernahan boys club appointment and has failed to this point.

Our KP defensive stocks looked good in 2008, Jamison was playing really well and so was Bower, after doing great jobs on Buddy and Riewoldt in the space of 3 weeks - they went off the boil this season, Jamison lost his form and Bower struggled through an entire season with injuries.
We obviously lost Fevola and while Henderson showed some glimpses and Waite performed well (when he was on the park).
We are poorly coached and Ratten (while he may get better, is not right choice for mine).
