Doesn't Larkey have an injury too, hence why he's not playing tomorrow?

Goldy and Higgo also not playing tomorrow due to the SOO nonsense, so we're going to be fielding a very young and inexperienced line up tomorrow.
Well heres hopin some expectations and reactions will be measured accordingly, but that seems unlikely.

Brown, polec, tarrant, ziebell....even if they do play round 1, they will be massively underdone.

This season we may well have a good excuse for a slow start
Brown had a clear run before he hurt his calf. Fitness wise he should be ok. Plus he's used to managing himself over a preseason.

Tarrant is expected to play against Sydney plus he's done a fair chunk of work.

Jack and Polec would have question marks. Not sure what Polec did last preseason.

Imo LDU is probably one of the most exciting recruits we’ve had in a long time.

To hear he has OP is devastating

Well, technically he has ‘pubic overload’.

Another one bites the dust based on previous training standards. Or lack thereof.

It has to be the previous training standards

No coincidence that the training and fitness standards have stepped up a notch in the preseason under Shaw = more injuries. Boys are probably not used to it

Maybe we need to take a hit for 2020 to really get our players fit and strong

He did all the extra optional sessions on top of the normal sessions.

******* great.

So we are taking a conservative approach but aren't placing Turner OR Jacobs on the LTI list?

To return after the bye, Turner's going to miss 15 weeks of football at the very best.......

Which is also after the midseason draft!

Between Daw, Jacobs and Walker - all have missed around 5 years of football between them across the last 2 seasons and in someones infinite wisdom, none of them were placed on the LTI?!

Does it take an ACL (EVW) to get placed on the LTI?

What the hell is going on? Is it a $$$ thing? we don't want to pay the $50k if we delist the draft picks?

With LDU, OP. knew it, very tough break for him, but how can Turner be out till after Rd 14 bye, and not have the surgery option ? I can see another Will Walker type situation brewing here :'(

Re Turner not a bad thing means we can actually play a proper small forward. LTI for Jacobs and get tipingwuti on the list. Hosie Mahoney and tiprat to fight it out for rd1

LDU however is not ideal. Need as many games into him as possible. I’d argue TT would pick up those midfield minutes now
