13 players unavailable. Are we too conservative?
Also do we not believe we are a chance for finals?
Until the years over then we push on
Make that 9 unavailable.
Atley, McKenzie, Hall and Tyson all trained. Was Watson sighted?

Most of us knew it. A whole preseason developing a style of play that was undone in an hour. One ******* hour.

Fremantle kicked an 1/8 of its total points this year against us.

The first 3-6 weeks were so gloomy and grey as we pi**ed away the year before our very eyes.
Unforgivable.

Can’t disagree with that at all

The tweet that summed it up for me was this by Heath. Even he knew as an unabashed lover of all things North that we were ****ed.

In 1993 Schimma goes after Adelaide belted us and we made finals.
But in 2019, it took us two months to act and it’s another irrelevant period.

How's McKenzie, that is a real positive for the young fella, good on him

Yep he's probably the only player on the list left with anything to play for this year. Everyone else would either be locked in or have their papers stamped already.

“Season” is easier to handle than the dreaded “2 weeks”.

Dom Tyson will be hoping for an injury-free run in 2020, after a season to forget that ended with shoulder surgery on Monday.

The 26-year-old returned from a series of calf issues in the VFL, but lasted only minutes when he dislocated his left shoulder.

The midfielder underwent a Laterjet stabilisation; a procedure that involves attaching a piece of bone to the front of the shoulder socket to draw a sling of tissue anteriorly, which acts as a barrier to prevent future dislocations.

Tom Campbell will have his right shoulder instability repaired arthroscopically, while Jed Anderson requires a right shoulder arthroscopy and removal of a pin from his collar bone.

After a discovering an irregular heartbeat and experiencing palpitations trough the season, Nick Larkey will have a Catheter ablation procedure which involves removing the faulty electrical pathway around the heart.

If that’s all the post season surgery that needs to be done, then that is a big big win.

Last season over half our list had some sort of post season surgery!

Q, Are any/all of those players listed as season, available to start the next pre-season which I assume begins in Late Oct/ Early Nov ?

Just going off standard recovery times for injuries I’d think somewhere along the lines of the following (pending no setback):

LDU: Full training December
Daw: Full Pre-Season
Jacobs: Unknown
Hayden: March/April next year
McDonald: Post Christmas
Scott: Post Christmas
Tyson: Post Christmas
EVW: Post Christmas
Walker: Full Pre-Season
Anderson: Full training December
Campbell: Full Training December

Hayden can start full training about January, 6 months post surgery. I was surprised, but doc's say yep, 6-9 months he's young so 6 yes.
Tyson's shoulder is a biggy, not just a tightening, sports meds say could be up to 5 months, but he can still do fitness work, he just avoids weight bearing.
Has anyone got any real info on BJ, to many stories out there. Has he been training, is he fit, have they any real idea of the cause?

We know next to nothing about Jacobs, and unless there is some funny business that is barely anything more than he or the club knows.

Glad to hear Hayden should be able to start training much earlier, iirc he wasn't getting much of the ball but he was tackling like a machine in his debut. Very interesting prospect.

Also glad that there shouldn't be anything stopping LDU from hitting the track day one! Get that fitness base up another 5%!

Planning for next season, they would want to know if and when BJ's going to be ready. A player like him is an important part of your squad makeup going forward. If he is still on the list and hasn't been moved on they must be confident he'll be back and know what their dealing with. Blind Faith is not a good move going forward. I for one hope he's got this covered, if not get him in a coaching development roll. In a short space of time he did some good stuff with Kyron.
