Bobby Campbell is far better used leading the kids in the 2s
Definitely.

Great role model for the young guys for work ethic, persistence and professionalism whilst protecting the young guys learning the caper in the VFL.

But definitely not a forwards's bootlace at AFL level.

Can Taylor play on Friday or not?
Depends if he gets through the three training sessions including a contact session. I think Steven May was allowed to play on the 12th day as long as he passed the tests.

Early prognosis

The Kangaroos expect some relief on the injury front, with Cunnington (concussion) set to feature on Good Friday. Hayden (hamstring) could also return, but Dumont (calf) and McDonald (quad) are considered unlikely. Taylor (concussion) will find it difficult after a second successive six-day break. - Riley Beveridge

Good to see a few less TBC's and Indefinites in there compared to last week. Wonder if Mahony will get up this week?

Jared Polec will head for scans after re-injuring the hamstring he strained during the pre-season, while Jed Anderson will need to prove his fitness after failing to return from an ankle complaint he suffered in the third term.

Key defender Aidan Corr is also expected to be sidelined for another 2-4 weeks with a foot infection that reduced him to crutches pre-game on Friday.

On the positive side should have Lmac, Curtis and Bonar back next week

LMac is going to make a huge difference in our backline

Tom Campbell, Tristan Xerri, Connor Menadue and Taylor Garner were all forced from the ground at different times, but all returned.

“TC (Tom Campbell), took a little bit more time because he had a concussion test, but he passed it well so came back on and played well,” Adams said.

“Both 'Garns' (Taylor Garner) and 'X' (Tristan Xerri) copped corks but they both seem to be OK.

“'Menners' (Connor Menadue) copped a big hit, but that looks like it was more his shoulder and he played out the game.

“A big positive to come out of the game is no new injuries. Hopefully the AFL boys can stay injury free and we can start to get a few back.”
