Jona was going to get Jed to run the injury out with laps but luckily Jed sort out his own medical advice which was to have it surgically repaired.

Must of had a conversation with Will Walker about the dos and donts of club injury management

Early prognosis
The Kangaroos lost Bonar (thigh) on Sunday, with the extent of his injury unclear. However, they were buoyed by the return of Trent Dumont (calf) through the VFL. The club is still yet to put definitive timelines on when Corr (toe), McGuinness (foot) or Spicer (hamstring) will return. - Riley Beveridge

1/3rd of the starting 18 on that list plus Perez, Hayden and Comben who would be getting games if fit.

This season is so sh*t.
Yeah, no positives at all from the injury list. We're probably a "respectable" four win spooner with more of our key guys fit. Injuries are preventing the team functioning like it should and development to key youngsters.

Not only that, you could also easily argue that Tarrant, Corr, LMac and Dumont are all in our best 5-7 players and they’d be super important to our defensive structures. It’s no wonder we had multiple goals kicked on us in nearly every game once we lose ascendancy around the ball.

Also what it would do if we had all these guys back in defence is perhaps make us a bit more adventurous in trying someone out of the ordinary up forward . Which is where we are desperately lacking . Hate to say it but even a Josh Walker could have been thrown forward a bit as in the past but we are forced to play him on the 2nd gorilla in the back line at present.

+Jed (and you could argue Polec is important structurally (though defensively not so much) on the wing as we now have to rotate almost exclusively kids through there)

The worst part is that with the exception of Taz, they are all in that 25-28 year bracket where our list already has a massive black hole.

May as well put a line through everyone except Bonar, Polec and Corr.and start again next year as they wont be match fit when they return anyway and should play some games in the vfl first....
