So I wonder if Stephen A Smith's call about Bosh being shipped in the off-season will come to fruition?

He isn't worth that whopping contract.

Miller surely will get amnestied. He hasn't been able to play enough due to injuries, and he's aging.

As for the Spurs, what can they do? Clearly there's a transition in progress, but with a big acquisition and dumping Manu (it's time), they could still very much be the West's best next season.

PHX As GM of Orlando what do you do this offseason and heading into the future?
I don't think we do much this off-season. Next season is all about moving towards a clean slate.

Hedo, Jameer and Arena's amnesty cash all come off the books next year leaving us with no bad contracts except Al Harrington (and perhaps Big Baby but at least he's productive).

I just want to see continued growth from all of our rookie contract guys like Nikola, Harkless, Harris and Nicolson.

It's 2014-15 we need to hope with our cap room someone wants to come join us at Disneyland to be with our rookies but I haven't looked that far ahead at who is available.

As of now I think we're getting set-up well in re-building Post-dwightmare.

Question for neutrals;

Ray Allen; has your respect for him changed at all after winning a second ring the way he did?
Not at all.

He was a free agent, he wasn't happy with his situation in Boston, he went to a team he thought had a better chance to win it all, he hit big shots and he won another title.

Good for him.

That's the NBA, players (including non-superstar veterans looking for titles) move around all the time.
The fact he went from Boston to Miami isn't really a big deal to the neutral fan.

He could be nearly worth it but Lebron/Wade playing in tandem does not provide opportunity for him to do enough other than shoot. For his contract they could get a paint filler, tall skinny guy to shoot baseline jumpers (eg Bosh's role) and a useful wing player for spot up shooting. Or they could substitute one of those for a better PG. Or S&T for Josh Smith if we pick up CP3 haha.

He wasn't a douchebag in Boston.

I wouldn't have any problem with him if he learned how to stop mentioning Boston all the time.
The last sentence can be applied to you as well. :D
