Celtics and Clips are farking cheats trying to trade Rivers for picks... Against the rules cheaters... Stern wont have it

It's supposedly dead now anyway. But what I think is the Clips realise that they shouldn't have to pay with picks for him. I mean it's pretty clear that Doc wants out at Boston and why would Boston want a coach who doesn't want to be there and is also being paid like 7mil a year (not sure on exact amount). Boston work out a buyout which costs them $0, hell even make Doc pay them to exit the contract. Save money on a coach and trade KG away for DAJ. While Doc signs with the clips.

That's the logical world so it probably wouldn't happen.

Greg Oden interested in joining the Heat in any role whatsoever, Dude is smart. Will come cheap, still has potential and will be cheap because of his injury issues. Miami would be stupid not to sign him. Bosh/Anderson/Haslem/Oden is a pretty decent front court for a 3 peat.

Oden? Is this for Miamis wheelchair team? If so, he is a good shot for the disabled olympics:thumbsu:

IMO they should amnesty Miller and use that money to go and get anything resembling a Centre but I am not sure Oden is that man.

They also have a mid level dont they? They will have to give that to Birdman Birdman

Their Lux tax is 30 million as it stands for next year. Micky gonna have to sell a lot cruise tickets to pay that.

Stephen A said the perfect fit for Miami would be Noah (absolutely agree) BUT no way we give them Noah.

I have heard talk on Bosh for Pau Gasol who would be a better fit for Miami than Bosh but with his knees he is almost done while Bosh still in his prime.

They'd be insane not to take a chance on Oden.

Stephen A is right, Noah would be an amazing fit but they don't have enough to get him from us.

@WojYahooNBA: Doc Rivers and Danny Ainge plan to talk through weekend and have a resolution on the coach's future with Celtics on Monday, sources tell Y!

@WojYahooNBA: Rivers informed the Clippers on Friday afternoon that he no longer had interest in L.A.'s job, sources tell Y! It's Celtics or TV now.

I'll cop that.

Surely you must be embarrassed with the 'support base' your team has?

The only thing I hate is that now everyone assumes all Heat fans jumped aboard when Le Bron did.

Besides that the amount of people who jump aboard the teams who are playing us tends to be just as bad.

We've been talking to him for awhile now. Was hoping he'd choose us over Cleveland. He'd be handy to stash away on the bench for when we play Chicago/Indiana in finals even if he can only give us 15 mins against Hibbert/Noah.

We have Varnado/Juwan sitting on the end of our bench. I know Juwan is there for his leadership but he could do that as an assistant surely. So Oden sitting there instead of Juwan can only be an improvement or a nil all draw.

I like Miller. I'd be sad to see him go. Dude may be overpaid but them threes. After Game 5 last year I just couldn't agree with getting rid of him. Likewise Bosh even though it probably makes sense to do so.

Noah would be great but can't see Miami/Bulls trading with each other at all to help the other team out.

Rather keep Bosh than Gasol.

Thing with Miller, is you need him playing the whole season so that you can sit Wade and James in patches. Add to that the repeater tax on his salary and its hard to keep him
Very true. I just don't wanna get rid of guys that have won us a title. Arison will probably be keen to shed the contract.

If thats all that Odom would cost (which is uncertain) them then worth the risk

I think that's all we can. Cleveland apparently have offered more or that was the rumour earlier in the season. So we're obviously hoping he chooses success over pay. With his knees I reckon he'd take the cash and run.

I would think he wants one more pay day... He is not picking up bishes on looks alone...
