And it's from his random neck injury fall in the bloody locker room during the Olympics? What in the fu** happened
"Boomers coach Brian Goorjian has tried to reach out to Baynes since the Olympics without any luck.

Several Boomers teammates have also been unable to contact Baynes."

Bizarre.

Jesus he spent the whole time in hospital and was stretchered off the plane when he came back to Aus. His game as a strong inside player with stretch was 10x better with the Boomers than in the NBA. I hope he is ok, I feel really sad for him.

Maybe Simmons was onto something

Don't play games unless they are paying u

Unpopular opinion;

Simmons is being a sook, and yes he played like complete s**t on offence for the last 3/4/5 games of the 76er's playoffs last year, BUT

I cannot remember a player being hung out to dry like Simmons was by his coach and Embiid and everyone else at the end of last season.

This whole narrative that the only problem is Simmons being a sook is wrong.

Doc could have pulled him when he was not taking shots and at the very least Doc had to support his own player even if he didn't want to. And then dealt with the problems behind closed doors. Instead they hung him out to dry and the 76er's organisation has not bothered to find a solution since. Simmons is entitled to be pissed off.

They don't want him. This is not 100% Simmons.

OKC should trade a few of their million picks to take a flyer on Bagley. Could easily take his contract.

Would potentially be a fun fit getting up and down the court with Shai, Giddey and Poku.

Take a flier and see if he can be something.

There are elements of this that are absolutely correct, and following the playoffs, Simmons had the absolute position of power based on the disappointing comments of his team and vital members of that team.

Even after pulling out of the Olympics, Ben had the position of power.

Even after sitting out of training camp, Ben maintained a position of power.

His behavior at training since arriving now reeks of a petulant child who doesn't want to eat his dinner but only wants dessert. It's so very disappointing to see him throw it away, because in the public opinion, he is now well and truly on the nose.

His agent should have provided far better advice.

That happened the entire season until that final game. Then a couple of frustrated comments were made. Simmons being a sook has seemingly been a lifelong character trait, you can only expect it to be put up with for so long.

Simmons is only at training so he gets paid. There is no other reason.

That was a fun offseason wasn't it?
