I've lived here my entire life (when not on the road), one suburb, one house. I barely go much further north than Subi and don't even really know where those places are!

Is that even in Australia?! Scrub that, is that even in the Southern Hemisphere?!! I'm guessing you have to undergo a crossing the line ceremony every time you got to an eagles game.

Its just at the end of marmion avenue.

Not that far. About a 15 minute drive down marmion and your at Whitfords City!

And if your a northerer....you will know that Whitford City is the heart and soul of North! The best shopping centre around!

I think of North as Karrinyup and Innaloo upwards. Anything between Innaloo and Perth is a bit skanky. Places like Leederville and Glendalough...

Leederville and Glendalough are good suburbs. There is much worse in the northern suburbs. If you get a map, you can see a bogan belt that runs across the northern suburbs. It starts just east of the freeway at Girrawheen and goes through Koondoola, Mirrabooka, Balga, Nollamara, Noranda, and Lockridge until it gets to Midland (bogan central).

And if there are any of you SORs having a quiet chuckle - don't laugh. You guys have the 'Great Southern Bogan Belt' running from Vic Park all the way down the train line until it gets to Armadale.

Girrawheen is a shocker. Stayed at a friends house in Girrawheen for one night and the next day i couldnt open my car up because some bastards had tried to jimmy the door open and ****ed up all my locks.

Stupid Girrawheen.

Oh God yes! I have to catch the Armadale line before a bus up to my place, and it's a shocker. Any time of the day, either direction. Dreadful.

SOUTH OF THE RIVER IS FULL OF FERALS AND WEIRDOS!!!

Unfortunately I have to drive SOR at least two or three times a week, I go to Murdoch Uni, Uni of the feral.

My girlfriend also lives SOR, don't worry, I'm trying to convert her, so it's ok. But she is one of the lucky ones that isn't a weirdo or a feral.

We all know that the town of Fremantle is also the gathering place of the feral fraternity south of the river, have you ever walked through Freo on a sunny day? THE FERALS ARE RIFE!!

North of the river is where the action is, get used to it southerners.

So very very true. I had some **** from Greenpeace hassling me on the way back to my lecture the other day. I was trying to be polite about it and just leave, but he and about three or for other miscellaneous ferals basically started this long, convoluted spiel about why I should join.. I try to leave, and realise they're standing in a semi circle keeping me trapped against the wall. I told them about 10 times I wasn't interested in signing up, but then started trying to convince me to give them my contact details so they could send me information, and in the end I actually had to physically push my way past them to make them stop bothering me. Oh, and guys, if you're reading this, no I do NOT want to make a fricking $10 donation.

Yes, driving along the northside is nice (Mounts Bay Rd).. but once you hit the south side, on the freeway it stinks like a rubbish tip. Not surprising really.
