Hahaha

Harden you ****knuckle

A) you don't have a super team because no one wants to play with a guy whose only game is give the ball to me so I can jack up as many shots as possible in between standing around on defense

And

B) "working hard" isn't a phrase you should use when you are widely mocked for being the laziest defender in the history of the game

Hypothetical that probably ends up making me look like an idiot (like I need help with that).

Lyles continues his upward trajectory. Gobert continues his excellent play. Exum continues to look raw and not ready to shoulder the load.

Do Utah, in any scenario such as the above, consider trading Favors for Rubio + a pick/other asset at or near the deadline?

It's probably not realistic, I'm just asking out of curiosity. One of the few salary matching options that I think could potentially benefit both teams.

Pre draft I would have looked at a deal centred on Favors and Knight but clearly not the way now given we drafted Bender and Chriss

Yeah no way I deal favors if I'm Utah unless he looks likely to leave in free agency.

Plenty of court time to develop lyles with a roster of gobert and favors as I can imagine plenty of time where favors and Lyle pair while gobert goes to the bench.

Also don't see Rubio in Utah with their list of guards either.

I love how this Utah roster is coming together and if I'm management im thinking about building trust in this core and telling these boys that how far they go is now up to them.

Since Utah traded for George Hill already, I'm thinking probably not.

The Jazz are trying to make a jump right now in order to convince Hayward to stick around, and as much as I like Rubio... Favors would be a huge loss.

One would presume that they still view Exum as the future too, but with Hill on board they don't need to rush him yet.
