I like Sandy.

He's good covering the golf, enjoy listening to him calling the tennis, and would rather see him calling the footy with Dennis instead of Bruce.

He and Tracey Austin gel very well together, especially compared with the cluster**** that is Chris Dittmar.

Agree with all bar the bolded part. Does a terrific job.

he is by far the best commentator channel 7 have got. i would rather him then dulldrum, aka bruce. bruce cant even pronounce nadals first name for crying out loud. his name is rafael. not a rap artist

Sandy's guide to calling sport
Get a favourite player (an Aussie or someone with a nickname ect if calling footy) then turn them into a hero. Get excited when they fart
Whisper pointlessly to try and make things more exciting
Whenever you haven't said anything for a while state a stat written in front of you or the bleedin obvious. "this is an important point" ect.
and repeat.
The guy has called so many sports over the years and I doubt he has ever done the slightest bit of research on any of them. He is completly and utterly useless and I have no idea how he has got the jobs he's been able to get over the years

Sandy would have to be the worst commentator of any sport on any channel.

Knows nothing about tennis, all he does is read stats, or ramble on about random emotions rather than anything to do with tennis.

Calls players by their first name, and says "nope" during a rally when the ball is going out, these two things annoy me the most.

On a better note i'm happy to see Woodbridge promoted to mens matches this year, i like the boy

Pretty much sums it up for mine. The whispering, the stating the obvious, the useless stats to try and sound knowledgeable, the calls of "nope", he is driving me insane.
