I'm thrilled to announce that there are 2 announcements within this award, so I guess that makes it 3 now. Over the course of the Royals 16 season history there have been plenty of good players, posters and personas come and go through the Golden Throne doors, and obviously most people move around a bit in their SFA careers so I think it's nice to find ways to acknowledge the ones that stay and achieve something, so that's why I'm happy to announce that the Royals Leading Goal Kicker Award will officially be named the Blacky award, with Blacky having captained the club for 5 seasons, winning a beez trophy, earning himself 5 All-SFA selections, and most importantly registering 356 Goals (all time club goal scorer as of the end of Season 32), it just makes sense to make this change.

And with that, incase you've been living under a rock I can announce The Filth Wizard as the receipent of the Season 32 Blacky Award, registering 56 goals across 16 games!

Well well well, I hope you're all happy, I don't know what sort of deals you Melbourne fans have made in order to secure your flag but we should not be punished for it! nah it was good to see the Dees up and about, and the reactions to the win, incredible and we can take inspiration from that and bring it into our Qooty season.

There's not much to say about the game, we were robbed plain and simple, and Marlowe was on point when he said games that finish within 2 goals should have a fifth quarter. These losses are the ones that hurt the most, where we've fought back and let it slip again right at the end. What we can do next time is, well, just get better.

This round we come up against the Warriors, so even if they don't rock up we can just make fun of NaturalDisaster for being a doof, enjoy!

Not bad, not bad at all friends. It's amazing what happens when you don't call the opposition 'a bye' really, I fully blame Filth for that unfortunate accident. Anyway we're back on track, and as filth said in the thread premierships are built on these hard fought gritty wins.

God I hate these close games, a ridiculous amount of lead changes and cliff hangers from Ding made it a nerve racking match, I wasn't confident at any point we were going to win. The true show of leadership, composure and experience came from Filth who just got it done when it needed to be, taking himself to 39 goals for the season. nahnah got a well deserved rest from his hard midfield craft, interesting qoaching decision given the tightness of the contest but these bold plays continue to pay off for us.

The swampies this week should be fun, they're usually good, and even if they're not we'll reliably get some fun philreich dad jokes.

That one hurt, as GreyCrow mentioned in the thread earlier this week it was an 8 point game and we've really made these next 6 weeks all must wins really. I do wonder which one of you jinxed us this time, I know I did all of the right stuff, so I will NOT be accepting responsibility for this one. Although 6.4 was a good start for sure, and if we're looking at the positives that's what we focus on everytime.

The Filth Wizard refuses to be counted out of the Fred race with a haul of 4, real captains performance and took the team on his back, with superstar Marlowe the only other dual goal kicker. ShaunDuggan was one of the only defenders to stand up, whilst Dancing Potato and nahnah were also impressive

This week is the start of the re-matches of the season, so the Furies are back up and we're getting the opportunity to ******* wipe the floor with these losers for revenge!

These are the key wins heading into the finals series everyone, when you're on the brink of dropping out of the 8 and you come up against a Top 4 sides this is the performance you pull out! Great to see the recruits in Fitzey, Engimal v3 and krakouers85 getting the bulk of our goals, and Fitzey putting in a performance for the ages, that'll go down as one of the best Winger performances of all time in Qooty, insanity!

GreyCrow maintains the lead but spookism isn't far behind them, as krakouers maintains his top 3 place comfortably. The big mover has been Marlowe who has managed to poll 24 votes in 4 rounds to jump up to 4th spot, with The Filth Wizard and Fitzey not far behind.

So the question now is, can GreyCrow maintain the lead, or will spookism's end to the season be enough to see him through​

Not much to be said about this game unfortunately, you'd be hard pressed to find many teams that have kicked 20 behinds in one Qooty game before, let along to only have 7 goals along with it, we were hard done by and any other day that game was ours to win

“The Royals? Yeah they go alright I guess. In many ways your mob ignited my late-season revival and therefore Bonz’ dominance in front of goal, and therefore premiership. So realistically, we have you guys to thank for the premiership!

When I was asked to make a Best and Fairest tip, I decided to look through the statistics. At first I typed in “ROY..” To search and wondered how you had all those mid-season transfers such as that that unsolicited-marsupial-badge-awarding Wosh. I also came across some kind of bug though, because it seemed your statistics stop at Round 16??

In terms of best and fairest you have quite a few good prospects, my tip is spookism who unfortunately to break it to you I’ve now since got to retire. Sorry not sorry. If I had to predict a quaddie I’d say spookism-Grey Crow-Krakouer85-Marlowe but knowing PMBangers and the The Filth Wizard, I would have a sneaky fiver on a PMBangers-The Filth Wizard tie.

“Gold City had quickly became one of my favourite teams to post against when I first joined the league and in this latest season, with fear that they would lose their spark with some of the vets taking a step back those fears were quickly put to rest

They had a fantastic mix of old hands that were ready to throw down but now complemented along with some of the wittiest fingers in sweet and future leaders and headliners of the comp

My tip for the bnf would be new face krakouers who under some fantastic guidance jumped into the league head first and didn’t look back, if they don’t win this year they will be the short favourite for manny seasons to come even with a list of so many talented and respected posters” - Muddiemoose, Las Vegas Bears​

WOW, what a season it's been Royals both on and off the Qooty field, and whilst we weren't rewarded with a finals run this season due to our own poor form in the final few weeks, we've had a good one overall. Looking at the stats from Barrybran, all of Blacky, Smartys Power, MrPremiership, ShaunDuggan, krakouers85, nahnah, CakeEater, MC Bad Genius, The Filth Wizard, GreyCrow, Marlowe, spookism were top 5 by their position in the league, that's more representatives than any other side, so I think that highlights how unlucky we are overall not to be playing more than 16 this season.

Off the Qooty field there was a lot to be happy and proud about, with three really good rookies in krakouers85, Dancing Potato and Engimal v3 coming in and livening up the place a bit, along with recruit MC Bad Genius bringing across his league wide famous '20 question Tuesdays' and 'Top 10 Thursdays', there's been a lot of chatter in the Royals threads. Whilst posting numbers aren't everything, it was a really good season in that regard, even with the usual repeat fixtures slump. A side note here, I am ******* fuming that Marlowe didn't post one more time, and can only assume that this was intentional

Also congratulations to The Filth Wizard (300), spookism (300), boncer34 (450), Marlowe (250), Danger in Texas (150), MrPremiership (100), grumbleguts (100), and MC Bad Genius (50) on hitting milestone games this season, after 51 games myself I can only imagine the insanity you've been exposed to over your time here

So with that, Season 32 is done and dusted, but we'll be back in S33, bigger, better and with a vengeance!

Need to give you and the LG some credit removed some deadwood at the start of the season and brought in both experienced players and a few rookies and struck gold with krakouers

Huge improvement from S31 to S32

11 players ave. +20 posts a week and a great even spread not relying on single player to carry the team

2 players ranked in the top 3 of DT and 4 in the top 12

Hard to win the Mobbs with so many players in great form but you prefer a solid contribution up the top which is what you had

Interesting fact we had our highest and lowest posting weeks against the Royals but both teams were missing our friend Headless

B&F flip a coin out of spooks and greycrow but joint winners would be fitting, even a 3way isn't out of the question with the season that kraks had on the wing

Would be 1 of the top.3 teams in the league heading into S33 with the season that you just had then add the brilliant signing of SarahSmiles and potentially could have an EKA winner with Ligma
