Man, irrationally believing in sweaty Sean Miller and Arizona's redemptive arc has zapped me of all my irrational confidence abilities for life.

Go cash in those cheques DeAndre.

Edit: Oh shit, but it might've been worth it.

Opposition hits 18 threes at 52%. Most teams win when that happens.

But ... that team should be well clear of .500 range. Either the coach sucks or most of the other starters should be first off the bench instead.
The Bucks are just a borderline Playoff team, that is where most people had them. That roster isn't that good, plus they were missing Parker for a long time. Also not a good road team

I think most people had them as more than a "borderline playoff team". On average I would have thought that people had them around the 4th seed at the start of the season. One of the better teams behind Boston and Cleveland.

edit: Our prediction thread backs that up. Most people had them 4th or 5th https://www.bigfooty.com/forum/threads/official-2017-18-nba-prediction-thread.1180109/

Does that speak to how good the bucks were thought to be or how bad the east is

I probably had Detroit in the playoffs... Loooool

Because Rodney is injured again?

Yes, that's reason #2.

Reason #3 involves a big fat pay cheque that some poor unfortunate front office might one day regret.

Reason #4 is the 'other guy' in contention to win ROY along with true-blue Aussie Ben.

Chriss is a ******* dog

From what I understand a lot of Suns fans are not, well... fans of Marquese. That 90 seconds might have been a demonstration why.

they were never going to be a 4th or 5th team...............Toronto, Boston, Cleveland and Washington were the standouts for the top 4 i reckon. Indiana has been the big surprise

Robin Lopez's game time since he returned from a seven game holiday; 12:00 mins, 12:00 mins, 12:00 mins & 12:00 mins.

Someone has a sense of humour.

I think one of the guys on the starters predicted exactly this after Silver's comments about the Bulls and tanking.

How can you say they were "never going to be a 4th or 5th team" when most people thought they would be, and even now they are only 3 games from the 4th seed? It's not like they are far away from it, despite having an underwhelming season.

I mean they were the 6th seed last year, and most people saw growth in them. Particularly with the age of their superstar. Also the 5th seed was Atlanta, and there was a zero percent chance that they weren't dropping.

Because you can't trust them on the road where they haven't had a winning record since the 2000-01 season. I haven't seen anywhere that predicted them to finish top 4 or 5th. They are slumping at the moment as well
