Balme will also tell him what needs to be done better, having been part of a successful club and culture at Geelong, he's in a great position to give advice on certain things that may not be quite where they should be.

From what I read he was headhunted, not interviewed. His credentials are self evident and one would be hard pressed to imagine why you'd even consider someone else if he was available and willing.
