My top moments:

Bolt Breaking the 100m world record
Anna Meares making the final of the Sprint
Matthew Mitcham's final dive in the 10m platform
Steve Hooker winning the pole vault
Sally McLellan's silver medal
The Aussie girl's 4x200 relay win
Ken Wallace steaming home in the K1 500m final

Bring on London.

In addition to these ones, I loved the women's and men's marathons. The guts shown by both winners in leading practically all the way was so awe-inspiring. In both races the commentators questioned the ability of the leader to sustain it. They were magnificent.

Sally was my personal favourite as she was not expected to make the final let alone win a medal.

Biggest personal disappointments: Craig Mottram (over-hyped) and our marathon runners.

Mitcham's gold was the best moment for mine. Incredible.

Also, though not an Aussie, the giant german Mathias Steiner winning the gold in the weightlifting was inspiring. Been through a bit of late, and it was great to see him get that massive weight above his head. Superhuman.

The Jamaican 4 x 100 m relay was incredible as well. Can't help but be impressed.

I'd also put as a little disappointing the fact we had at least 8 current world record holders in the swimming not win their events (Leisel x 1, Eamon x 2, Libby x 2, Women's 4x100 relay, Hackett x 1, Schipper x 1), though with credit, most of those still won medals, so still good efforts.

Matthew Mitchams dive was awesome. Im no diving expert but when the pressure was on he came up with the goods.

Not a bad looker either. Sorry ladies but my gaydar is going of the scale when i look at Matt.

Another highlight was the mens marathon and the 5000 metres. How quick were the Africans? Running a 3 minute k is pretty quick. Doing it for 42k's is phenomenal.
