In 2011, I went to the Grand Final in standing room. We won.
This year, I went to the Semi Final in standing room. We won.
This weekend, I just got my ticket to the Preliminary Final for standing room. (Insert result here please)

It was Robinson Crusoe, who, in his first days on the island, shot, roasted and ate a hawk!

Could extend that a bit further and say that a team who has a star player under conjecture about where they're playing the following year has lost in the Prelim.

In 2010, we were in that position with Gaz, and we lost.
Last year, Collingwood were in that position with Travis Cloke, and lost.
This year it's Hawthorn and Buddy....
