Hang on, wasn't that PoidaCat who started the whole Purple ****s thread? I'm not sure GC26 was part of that? Could be wrong.

In 2007:
* Rounds 1-5 - Cats played promising but inconsistent football. Questions hover over the team, remain unconvincing.
* Round 6 - Slaughtered an opponent (Richmond by 165 points), playing a full four quarters of relentless football. However, because it was a lower team with some injuries, questions still remained about whether the Cats were the real deal.
* Round 7 - Faced it's sternest test of the season against premiership fancy West Coast Eagles at Kardinia Park. Ran out convincing winners to make a statement to the rest of the competition.

In 2016:
* Rounds 1-5 - Cats played promising but inconsistent football. Questions hover over the team, remain unconvincing.
* Round 6 - Slaughtered an opponent (Suns by 120 points), playing a full four quarters of relentless football. However, because it was a lower team with some injuries, questions still remain about whether the Cats are the real deal.
* Round 7 - Faces it's sternest test of the season again premiership fancy West Coast Eagles at Kardinia Park. What will happen this Saturday???

Two out of three so far :D:D

If we lose, does that mean we're effed for the season?o_O

One prominent poster on that thread actually does it for past, present and future. It must be one of the advantages of looking in the mirror 24 hours a day. :)
There's a thread?? I'm only basing my comment on lectures from a past JW boss and his wife, and then my subsequent research to find out what rubbish they were on about myself!

2007.. we drafted a future Capt and he made his debut R1 ... 2016 ?
2007.. a player drafted 6 years before became elite after 85 games and won a Brownlow...2016?
2007.. the tipping point thrashing came after a soul searching loss at home.... 2016?
2007.. we had a Premiership-less coach.
2007.. our coach who had been a part of a triumvirate but under the intense scrutiny of an inner probe a schism was created that never really healed...

Omens are there to be found everywhere if we look hard enough.. I suspect if we read with enough insight we will find that Nostradamus mentioned something that lines up with us ... something about the second coming to overcome the domination of evil.
