Every game I've been to this year has been a win. Hawthorn x2, Adelaide, Sydney & Richmond @ SS, Essendon & St Kilda. 7/7 wins. I plan on attending every final this year local or interstate.

Has to be a flag on that basis.

if you dont get a premiership medal if they win it all, ill be petitioning the AFL to change the rules!

Just on the road sign info, I couldn't help but notice that as you drive out of Camperdown enroute to Geelong, it lists Geelong 119.

Imagine those poor people who may have driven up from SA and seen that on that fateful day in 07, not knowing what we now know... I smile every time I drive past it

Last final between Geelong & Fremantle was the Semi Final, 10 Sep 2010 at MCG:

Geelong defeats Fremantle 135-66.

Reckon the head to head stats over the last 5 years actually flatter Fremantle given the venues, actual match outcomes (Geelongs 8 wins to 2 losses ) and scores: http://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/ft_team_comparison?team1_id=10&team2_id=9

Don't reckon Round 1 this year will have much bearing. Geelong with 2011 GF hangover in Round 1 2012 is a very different team to the one that is ramping into September rampantcy.

I am quietly ....... nah noisily ..... confident about Geelong's chances next Saturday :)

Sadly, with work and what not, I don't get to many games these days - 4-6 a year max, including finals. But every game I've been to since the start of the '07 season we've won. Some may say it's pure luck, but I put that down to the Gods repaying the faith for attending most if not all of the '83-'88 seasons.

I'm going Saturday, and the Gods still owe me up until the end of the year. :thumbsu:

How's their record at Geelong been in that time? Have they actually played there?
